Clinical studies have been carried out to prove the efficacy and safety of XLS-Medical Max Strength and its active ingredient Clavitanol. The PRO-7 group experienced a mean decrease in body fat of 3.15 ± 2.41 kg compared with a mean decrease of 0.23 ± 2.74 kg for the placebo group (p < 0.001). PRO-7 also decreased feeling of hunger in 66% subjects. A beneficial effect of PRO-7 on the lipid metabolism was also demonstrated in the subgroup of subjects with baseline total cholesterol levels above 6.2 mmol/L. No side effects related to the intake of PRO-7 were reported. Conclusions It is possible to alternate between these two – just make sure the dosage is respected: one sachet is equal to two tablets.
