All you have to do to make a delicious bowl of porridge, is to add 50g of the flakes to a bowl, with 200ml of milk and heat for 3 minutes in the microwave or on the hob. I have to say I was not sure about this idea, but on the other hand I do miss a bowl of porridge in the winter. Overall I’d say it’s nice for a change up of breakfast; the flavour on its own is quite plain so will carry other flavours very nicely. Delicious Alchemy sent me their porridge alternative to try, just rice flakes, no oats in this porridge ! If you’d like it a bit runnier, you can add a dash of milk either before or after putting it into the fridge! Stir 250ml water or 200ml semi-skimmed milk (or dairy-free alternative) into 50g of porridge in a microwaveable bowl.
