The boxes are well-designed and easy to rip open. They also rattle quite loudly as all the LEGO elements are inside the cardboard blister. And last but not least, we have Wolverine, the poster-child of the X-Men. this is one of Logan’s best minifigure variants, with yellow and blue on full display here, as well as the short blue sleeves. Now that the third episode of Moon Knight is streaming on Disney Plus, viewers have gotten their best look yet at the MCU version of Khonshu, who was previously glimpsed in the premiere along with a small taste of his personality as voiced by Abraham. Even if he doesn't drive Khonshu mad, could Mephisto wind up being the larger villain for the supernatural corner of the MCU that's building with Moon Knight, Blade, and more? If there's a role worthy of a major villain like Mephisto, it's something like that. And if he manages to, say, take on Khonshu to make his rep as a threat in the MCU, that could tie even further into recent comic book developments.

Again, we’re treated to more incredible arm and side leg printing, which I do wish would become the norm with LEGO Marvel minifigures found in regular sets. Beast looks fantastic rendered in blue, with plenty of fur detailing across his body and a primary face featuring Hank’s thoughtful face with glasses on. In that story, Khonshu unleashes a horde of minions led by a newly powered-up Marc Spector/Moon Knight in a quest to conquer the Earth after being driven mad by visions of the demon Mephisto causing a terrible cataclysm. Next up we have Echo, aka Maya Lopez, who featured in Hawkeye and will also have her own series on Disney+ in November 2023. Echo is one of the most impressive minifigures in this series with incredible detailing across her entire body. Remember we said the very first Moon Knight's fight against the 1,000,000 BC Avengers would come up again? That rivalry came up again in one of Moon Knight's biggest recent stories, Avengers: Age of Khonshu.

Joining Moon Knight is Mr. Knight, another one of Marc Spector’s alter-egos. Eschewing Egyptian mummy garb for a more distinguished 3-piece suit, Mr. Knight is a more cerebral and levelled alter-egos and is dressed accordingly with a white mask, and sharp suit, all in monochrome white. Marvel has brought out the big guns for this one. Oscar Isaac's 2021 was a blinder: a starring role in HBO's Scenes from a Marriage alongside Jessica Chastain was followed by the role of Duke Leto Atreides in Dune and a critically-acclaimed performance in The Card Counter. Isaac is donning the adamantium super suit to play the titular Moon Knight, the alter ego of mercenary Marc Spector.

Here’s a look at the new boxes, which come in a larger box. There are 2 levels with 2 rows each containing9 boxes in each row.Agatha’s minifigure has detailed printing across her torso and skirt piece, with the fabric detail extending quite seamlessly. She comes with a purple fabric cape, and two trans-purple power blasts Kate Bishop’s outfit is fantastic with the LEGO designers making great use of colours and subtle use of side leg printing and arm printing to enhance the screen-accuracy of her minifigure.

It's still early days to say whether this will be the best Disney+ Marvel show yet, but it definitely starts well and is worth a watch. Now let's see if they can handle the pacing issues that made Loki , WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier at times so infuriating. At least with a six episode run there's less risk of filler. Here’s a comparison with the 2017 She-Hulk. The printing and design is much-improved, but I do kinda miss the simplicity of the older She-Hulk costume which is more comic-accurate.

As a first episode The Goldfish Problem definitely left me wanting more. By showing us so much from Steven's perspective there are some tempting prospects in future episodes - not least seeing Moon Knight fully in action after a few tantalising glimpses and finding out more about the voices in his head, although I could do without Khonshu (voiced by F Murray Abraham( sounding quite so cheesily Venom -y. Marvel Minifigures Series 2 will release on 1 September (October in ANZ), and will feature 12 all-new characters inspired by Marvel Studios TV shows, from Hawkeye to She-Hulk to Moon Knight and the upcoming X-Men 97 series. Fans of the Hawkeye TV series will be delighted to see the inclusion of this adorable (but deadly!) baby owl, a brand new mould and one for LEGO animal collectors to get excited about. Marvel fans will no doubt be happy with the selection, but you’ll likely be left thinking if this was the best LEGO Marvel roster for Series 2.
