About this deal

When it arrived L was immediately taken with the bright worm on the box and couldn’t wait to get it open and try it out. You will need two C batteries but other than that the game can be put together in under a minute. The pole (worms body) is three connecting tubes that you slot into the base and you can choose to use just two if your younger ones are smaller which is what we did. The worm’s head then slots in the top and you’re good to go. As an exhausted mom to 3 beautiful boys aged 5-11, Keep Up With the Jones Family began as a family blog and turned into my passion. Wobbly Worm is a greatway to build hand-eye coordination and it takes some concentration to get the hoop over your worm, even before you switch it on and the worm and apply both start wobbling all over the place. It really is lots of fun. You can make it easier or more difficult by adding worm sections; drawing a line where you have to throw your hoop from. If you’re a beginner, just don’t switch your worm on until you get the hang of it. I confess I was initially drawn to this because I loved the name and seeing it in action on YouTube made me smile. I knew my son would love it and I was right. Wobbly Worm is designed for children aged 3+ and is an update on old fashioned hoopla. Wobbly Worm is a plastic worm with a base shaped like half an apple. Switch him on and he will wibble and wobble while you try to toss your hoops over his head.

The game is suitable for 2-3 players, but you could happily play with this by yourself, or in a group of friends or family.

You see, as an incurably hopeless, wish-upon-a-star daydreamer, when my first baby boy came into my life, I swiftly realised that being the parent you thought you would be, and creating family memories to treasure in the way you imagined before your baby was born [and keeping you awake all night] is a real challenge. This made the game super enticingfor older brother Alec, who was determined to master his wobble-aim. With summer upon us and children to entertain during the school holidays, it’s good to get out in the garden and play some games. We’ve been playing a new game from Spin Master Toys which is great in the garden, or works equally well inside if the weather is not on your side – Wobbly Worm.

Can you hoop the loopy worm? Wobbles the Worm has fallen out of the apple tree and he’s all dizzy! As Wobbles bobs and spins around, players try to get their three hoops over his head. Get rid of all your hoops first to win! Wobbly Worm is get-up-and-move-around fun for preschoolers! One of the biggest benefits to the Wobbly Worm game is that children of various ages can play together. Wobbly worm grows with you! add segments for more motion as you get older. Wobbly worm stands 3 feet tall at its tallest! As Wobbly Worm moves around, his head will sway from side to side. Reach out and try to place one of your hoops over his head. The Wobbly Worm has a maximum height of 3ft, so at full length he’s about right for my quite tall 6 year old. Of course, the taller he is, the more he wobbles. The only down side was that the worm’s head kept falling off, but L just found it funny so it didn’t ruin the game for us. All in all we really enjoyed Wobbly Worm and think it’s perfect for those sunny days in the garden that we’re all hoping will arrive some time soon. A tasty red apple fell off the tree and rolled around and around on the ground. Out popped a Worm, and now he's all Wobbly! Be the first to get all three of your hoops over Wobbly Worm's head, and you win!We love garden games and this week we’ve been sent two – both variations on games I played when I was little! The first one we opened was called Wobbly Worm and it’s so much fun. Initially the fun had to be put on hold as it required some AA batteries which seemed to be the only kind we don’t have any of, but once we got the batteries we were away. It's always an excellent service with brilliant products at a very competitive price - will use again! We ended up shortening Wobbly Worm to make it a little easier for Kinslee and the game was no less fun. Childhood is gone in the blink of an eye [except the sleepless nights part, that lasts for decades I think] and I wanted to enjoy every moment I could and make it as fun as possible.
