About this deal

The Duronic EK30 Eco Kettle sets a speedy pace, boiling 500ml of water in just 1 minute 10 seconds, and offers a keep-warm function and variable temperature settings. The lid of the kettle does not contain bisphenol A (BPA), as BPA is not used in the production of PP.

Further features include: 360 degrees base rotation for left and right handed use, illuminating on/off switch, quiet operation.

This kettle combines those Bauhaus elements that make all ritterwerk products unmistakeably recognisable: reduction to the essential and durable materials. Bought this Kettle May 2018 and LOVED IT but after only a year and a half it has broken (it broke 2 days ago Oct 2019) so whilst this is an amazing kettle, I have to give it one star for its reliability. A kettle requires between 1200W and 3000W to boil, and all those cups of tea and coffee can add up to have an impact on your energy usage over time. When she’s not writing about the newest gadgets and gizmos for your home and garden, you’ll find her cooking, running and exploring London’s foodie hotspots – or trying to make friends with every dog she passes. The Bosch Styline kettle is a top energy efficient choice, boasting a 3kW element for quick boiling, four temperature settings, and a 30-minute keep-warm function.

While it's one of the more affordable options with a two-year warranty and stylish two-toned wood and matt finish, it lacks one of the three energy-saving functions, making it not the top eco-choice.It's also worth checking the position and shape of the handle, which may affect the balance when pouring and filling. Although getting on the same wavelength might require a few tries, with its knack for scheduling, quirky activation phrases, and energy-saving prowess, it's like having a tech-savvy friend in your kitchen. Variable temperature kettles can heat the water to different temperatures to provide the best results when brewing different types of tea and coffee. Particular care was taken when developing the filter for the spout in this kettle as we found that many kettles on the market have gaps between the filter and wall of the kettle which lets pieces of limescale get through when poured.

Kettles with large viewing windows are best if you want to know exactly how much water is in the kettle at any time. An additional special feature is the choice of four temperature settings – 70°, 80°, 95° and 100° Celsius. Our Kettle with digital precision 1L - Artisan has 3 flow rates: low flow, best for pour-over coffee, medium flow, for brewing tea, and fast flow, perfect for French press coffee. The quality of the water makes a big difference when you’re preparing a hot drink — especially tea or coffee. The smart stainless steel design adds to its appeal, although a slight delay in the auto shut-off could be improved for greater energy efficiency. If you’re in the market for a new kettle, choosing one with a rapid boil function is a great option as it heats the water up much faster than your average kettle. Available in a range of sizes and colours, the Vektra Eco kettle has the functionality and style to make it suitable for almost any environment, be it your home kitchen, office space or even a busy restaurant. Vacuum-insulated dual stainless steel walls ensure that the kettle’s exterior stays cool and easy-to-handle, while the contents hold their temperature.
