Octonauts Gup-B Kwazii

Like Shellington with the Gup-D, Kwazii has an unexpected tendency to crash the Gup-B, especially when he goes too fast.

The Gup-A is a multi-purpose vehicle based on an anglerfish and it is one of the most used Gups in the Main Series. Its speed is moderate, but it has a turbo booster can make it go almost as fast as the Gup-B (as seen in The Giant Whirlpool). It is one of the only Gups that appear in the books with a fairly consistent design before the 2010 TV show’s release.

Some fish (like the Humuhumunukunukuapua'as) mistake the Gup-B for an actual shark and get scared. Even the Hammerhead Sister Pup saw the Gup (in Tiger Shark mode) and got scared. The Gup-A is the first Gup to debut in the entire franchise, making its first appearance in The Octonauts & the Only Lonely Monster, and with a design that doesn’t showcase any dramatic differences when compared to the TV show model. Terra-Gup 1 and Dashi: Based on the new "Octonauts: Above & Beyond" content, the Terra-Gup 1 and Dashi are ready for land adventures. The Gup-M is an upcoming land-based Gup. Not much is known about it. It stands for the mudskipper and/or motorcycle. It first appears as art in the credits, before making its animated debut in the Caves of Sac Actun movie. Official merchandise and toys of the Gup have already been produced. The Gup-F was made to look like a clownfish. It did not have any real interior or exterior, but a basic metal frame with controls.

The Gup-J is a relatively new Gup that most likely resembles a tree frog. Only the toy Gup Speeder has been made. Gup-A and Captain Barnacles: The most iconic "Octonauts" Gup, the Gup-A is a submarine that is perfect for all underwater missions and adventures. The Gup-G is an orange Gup, it features a mobile operation base capable of launching the other Gups. It is mentioned in one of the original books. It is modeled after a salamander, and can walk on land, and swim in the sea, just like a salamander. It is big enough to fit all of the Octonauts inside, including most of their Gups. When the Octonauts clean and repair their ship, the Octopod, the resulting noise causes a nearby blue whale to act in strange and dangerous ways. Barnacles and Kwazii investigate a disruption on a nearby reef – a carrier crab and the urchin who lives on its shell just can't seem to get along.

The Gup-I is a mobile ice research station built for freezing conditions. According to Tweak, the "I" stands for ice. The design is based on the water bear, and from Professor Natquik's old ice research station which Tweak remodeled it into the Gup-I. The Gup-E is a Gup with two separate cargo bays. Both cargo bay windows can be opened to allow creatures and Octonauts to enter and leave the Gup easily. It is Peso's preferred Gup, as it is also often used as an ambulance Gup.

In The Spinner Dolphins, Kwazii was able to use the Gup to act like a spinner dolphin and lead the dolphins (while asleep and awake) out of the trash in the bay. The Gup-L appears to be similar to a hovercraft. Other than that, there is not much known about it. Only the Gup Speeder toy has been released. The Gup-D is a small, multipurpose Gup with retractable arms and legs. With its legs and arms out it looks like a crab, but with its legs and arms in it looks like a manta ray. The Gup-D is Tweak’s favorite Gup.In The Damselfish episode, Peso drives the Gup for the first time and calls it a "Getaway Gup." He feels nervous at first, but soon finds that driving it is pretty fun. The Gup-B is a shark-styled Gup with one seat. Known for its fast speed and acceleration, it is Kwazii's favorite Gup. He mainly uses it for almost all the missions the Octonauts go on, takes it out for solo missions, or to just have fun driving it around, such as racing with fast creature. It is also the fastest Gup of all, even faster than the Gup-R. Kwazii is very protective towards the Gup, not wanting to let it out of his sight, as seen in The Octonauts and the Ring of Fire. While exploring the Arctic, the Octopod gets trapped in the ice. Only Barnacles's skillful navigation, and the help of a friendly Narwhal, can get them free. Based off of the toy design, it appears to just be a very basic metal hull designed to look like an orca, with some bobs and bits like "steering" and "engines" thrown into the mix. It may appear in a future season.

It has a top speed of 75mph, and is one of the only Gups that appear in the books with a fairly consistent design before the 2010 TV show’s release. At the end of The Red Fox, a group of penguins get inside the base and make a mess out of everything. The Octonauts follow an old map to what Kwazii believes is treasure guarded by a sea monster but, instead, they meet a playful Octopus with all kinds of surprising abilities. The Gup-F was a pedal-powered Gup, and the first one Tweak had ever created. It ranks as the slowest-moving Gup; however, it came to use and was helpful when there was no other Gup to use, like in the episode "The Speedy Sailfish." It was destroyed by the first part of a hurricane in the episode "The Artificial Reef."
