This is the only Postman Pat video release to be released by Saint Michael's Video and is also the only Postman Pat video release to contain the 1988-1991 BBC Video Ident from when it was re-released for the first time in 1988 until it was re-released again with another updated video tape master and the 1991-1997 BBC Video Ident in 1993. The content of Postman Pat and The Robot, Postman Pat Paints The Ceiling, Postman Pat and The Suit of Armour, Postman Pat and The Mystery Tour, Postman Pat Has Too Many Parcels and Postman Pat Misses The Show are all taken from their original televised broadcasts with white title card logos appearing at the start of all six episodes on this Postman Pat video release.

The spine on the 1992 re-release shows a picture from Postman Pat and the Toy Soldiers even though that episode isn't actually on this video.
