About this deal

Montparnasse Tower: Although perhaps not the most beautiful in Paris—indeed many claim it boasts the best views of Paris solely because the tower doesn’t feature in them—the Montparnasse tower is nonetheless an iconic Parisian building. Standing at 210m, it is the only skyscraper within central Paris, not least because its creation prompted a law against the construction of any further skyscrapers within the city centre. Whether or not it is a rude mark of unwanted modernity on this historic city’s skyline, the tower offers a sensational view of Paris at all angles, and in particular those of the Eiffel Tower, Invalides, the Luxembourg Gardens, and the immediate Montparnasse area.

However, in recent years, world leaders have stressed the need to limit global warming to 1.5°C by the end of this century. Basically, the only thing you can’t see from above the tower is the tower itself but other than that, you can be sure to get the best view of Paris from the top of the Iron Lady. And to some people, climbing the 300 steps is not something they would want to do so that’s why I am offering this option. Since the 1990s, Wolf had mostly lived in Hong Kong and had photographed mostly in Asia up until that point. In his new Parisian surroundings, with cautious curiosity, making a conscious decision to stay away from the quintessentially Parisian sights that enhance travel books. Amid his investigation of the city, Wolf found the uniqueness and excellence of its zinc rooftops. The Arc de Triomphe is nowhere near the tallest building in Paris (it’s only about 50 metres high); it’s the location that makes it a favourite viewpoint. It’s located right at the end of the Champs-Élysées captivated by a gigantic roundabout, which forms part of an axis that leads from the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel to la Grande Arche de la Défense.Paris’ skyline is famous, with the Eiffel Tower standing tall amongst the Haussmanien apartment buildings with their iron balustrades. But as for the best place to enjoy this view? Folks remain undecided. 1. Eiffel Tower The Arc de Triomphe is nowhere near the tallest building in Paris at only 50 metres high, but its location make it one of my favourite Paris viewpoints. It commissioned by Napoleon in 1806 to honour the French army, but wasn’t completed until after he died. Opening Hours: The Panthéon is open from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM from 1st October – 31st March and from 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM from 1st April – 31st September. Of course, the main reason for visiting the museum may not be for the views but when there, you might as well take advantage of that opportunity to take in the Paris city views.

It is also famously called Tour Montparnasse, which was the tallest skyscraper in Paris until late of 2011. It was constructed in 1969 to 1973 with 210 meters high and it’s still names as 19th tallest building in European Union in 2019. And one of the advantages of seeing Paris from the top of the Arc de Triomphe is that since it’s not too tall (it stands at the height of 50 metres (164 ft)), you can actually see the city and its popular landmarks easily without them looking like tiny little elements. Arc de Triomphe offers one of the best views of Paris. The world-famous Galeries Lafayette department store is well known among Parisians and visitors for the wide variety of products they offer, and for their glamorous window displays. However, fewer people know that there is a wonderful roof-top terraces, which accessible for the public – for free! You get a wonderful 360 degree view over the surrounding Paris skyline. Galeries Lafayette offers a wonderful roof-top terraces for a brilliant view of Paris. 6. View Paris From Butte Bergeyre. Top 10 panoramic views of Paris: it is always exciting to discover a city from above… and Paris makes no exception with its world-famous monuments and landmarks. Here is a list of our 10 favourite panoramic views of Paris. While you can take in the views of Paris from other vantage points on this list pretty much any time, unfortunately, it’s not the case for this!

An exceptional panoramic view

The Paris Agreement is a legally binding international treaty on climate change. It was adopted by 196 Parties at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP21) in Paris, France, on 12 December 2015. It entered into force on 4 November 2016. If you haven’t seen it you would hardly liken it to New York’s Empire State building that stands twice as high and was built over 40 years ago. It is just the fact that in Paris, the Tower sits by itself. But it’s there for all of time so you might as well get the view it offers. I think it’s one of the best in Paris. It’s above it all but close enough to see the sights below without binoculars.
