About this deal

Take a look at some of the fun outtakes on set with the cast and crew of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Selected items are only available for delivery via the Royal Mail 48® service and other items are available for delivery using this service for a charge. Yeah, it’s a little convoluted and clunky, and it takes a few minutes to get past various villains shouting exposition about their plans and feelings. Given the world the filmmakers are setting up, these choices are also understandable. (Marvel franchise outings often improve in sequels once the origin stories are dispensed with.)

The Blu-ray release of Guardians of the Galaxy is presented in 1080p with DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround. Special features include: Update: Gunn has revealed that the 3D Blu-ray presentation of Guardians of the Galaxy will be presented with a shifting aspect ratio (2.40:1 & 1.78:1), a la The Dark Knight. The 2D presentation will remain 2.40:1 for the duration of the film. Regardless, 'Guardians of the Galaxy' is an unexpected blast and two full hours of escapist fun. It’s equal parts futuristic and nostalgic, with a great sense of tone, and an absolutely awesome cast of characters. I hope we see our galactic guardians again soon. A Lending Hand – Peter lends a hand to an injured humanimal on Counter-Earth and shows he means no harm. That said, I could see some viewers not digging the mix of genres and musical eras. I also wonder how younger audiences will react to the movie's references. Like many of the Marvel properties, this seems to be made a little more for adult audiences – for those who grew up watching Spielberg movies and reading comics. Without a direct knowledge of 1970s and 1980s pop culture, will the film work as well as it does for those who grew up in those decades? To be honest, I’m not quite sure. We’ll have to see what critics and audiences say, how the film plays over time, and how this part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe plays out.The Imperfect, Perfect Family - View the evolution of the Guardians through the cast and crew’s passion for each other and the entire franchise. Join this tight knit “found family” as they leave behind a legacy and recount their best memories wrapping up this epic trilogy’s final film. We take it for granted now, but Guardians was the first really expansive MCU entry, and it delivered its galaxy-hopping escapades with visual majesty, integrating some fabulous grand-scale action into the mix, and delivering largely seamless effects at every stage. Detail remains impressively rendered, from the weathered look of the ships and costumes to the battle-ravaged landscapes, to the fleet of star fighters and gigantic enemy destroyers. It may well be a 2K DI, but this 4K upscale wrings every last nuance out of the image, and delivers plenty of texture and finer object work beneath the surface. It's nice to champion some Marvel characters once again, and who better than the Guardians to remind us how to do it
