About this deal

Additional rad space won't guarantee better performance, it will just give you the option to have similar performance with less noise as you can run your fans at lower fan speeds. The less rad space you have the faster your fans have to run. A 360mm Radiator and 240mm radiator will fit top and front, but you have to mount your fans on the inner side, and room for pipe runs is very limited, especially if you plan on mounting the XD5 on the front. If you do happen to go for front and top mounted radiators, you will find that you will have limited mounting choices for your XD5. Founded in 1994, Corsair started by making Level 2 cache modules for OEMs. After Intel incorporated the L2 cache into the processor, Corsair refocused and started making DRAM modules. Fast forward to 2018, and they have become one of the leading names in the high-end PC industry. Over the years, with their groundbreaking technology and innovation, they have expanded their line of products to include high-performance memory, ultra-efficient PSUs, cases, PC and CPU cooling solutions, SSDs, keyboards, mice, and headsets. The iCUE comes with a lot of predefined lighting effects that you can additionally configure settings for, such as speed, color, and direction. High-speed USB 3.1 Gen-2 Type-C front panel connector puts future-proof connectivity within easy reach.

With everything powered up, we can see that the system comes to life, and the LL fans shine brilliantly in its default rainbow setting. The fans have a myriad of options for RGB settings to bets match user taste, but the rainbow one worked well enough for photos. One thing of note is the fact that with our Corsair AIO and RAM, we can sync all of them to the same lighting profile for a more cohesive illumination of your build, especially if you get the additional RGB strips for the chamber. Final ThoughtsInstall up to 8x 120mm or 7x 140mm fans for massive cooling potential, with room to mount up to four radiators.

I'd make sure that Cooler master part is compatible with your Corsair case. It seems pretty big, and specifically made for specific models of Coolermaster cases. How would you even mount a GPU vertically without some kind of extra mount? As far as I know, most cases don't have such thing as a "vertical slot".

The 678C’s refined styling belies its massive cooling and storage options, which are among the most impressive of any CORSAIR ATX case. With room to install up to nine 120mm fans and multiple radiators, including dual 360mm radiators, the 678C can accommodate a wealth of custom cooling to match the highest spec systems. A modular drive bay system allows the 678C to host a huge array of storage and accessories, with room for up to 1x 5.25in drive, 6x 3.5in and 3x 2.5in drives, and the potential to add a further 2x 3.5in drives with additional trays. So i do really like this case, easy to build in, nice finish and you can really build a nice system inside.. however i have a serious issue with the space with my current setup, The 680X supports up to three full sized 3.5” drives and an additional four 2.5” using the drive cage placed above the PSU. Depending on how many 2.5” drives you are installing, you can adjust the number of bays by adding/removing them as you see fit. The Corsair Crystal 680X came to market with a part number of CC-9011169-WW, which is not as simple to be able to remember as some we have reviewed previously. The dimensions of the cube style mid-tower come in at 505mm tall, 423mm deep, and 344mm wide. As you can see, the width is quite higher than a normal mid-tower, and this is due to the dual chamber design, which houses the storage and PSU behind the motherboard tray.
