About this deal

Admittedly, this Sonicare was a little intense. The vibrations were loud, and due to the pressure were sometimes painful for the gums. If you have gums that are a little more sensitive, you may not want to use this toothbrush. models, which offer a similar design and use the same brush heads, but support fewer modes and intensities, and also drop the BrushSync feature. The issue with the Philips sonicare protectiveclean 4100 is that it may be an electric toothbrush, but it doesn’t last all that much longer than a manual toothbrush. This means that you will need to buy another one at about the same time when you would normally buy another manual option even though you’re paying for that powerful lithium-ion battery. It does not come with a travel case. Brush performance from the Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 was excellent. To test, I loaded up my test teeth with beetroot and spinach, pushing bits of food between the gaps in the teeth.

When we compare the sonicare protectiveclean 4100 vs 5100 vs 6100, the Sonicare 6100 also has three different high quality modes of cleaning: clean mode, white teeth mode, and gum care mode. It specializes in teeth whitening, and can help your teeth become much whiter within a week of use. The 6100 comes with mode of 3 intensities. The toothbrush has a pressure sensor. Press too hard while brushing and you get a pulse through the brush handle warning you to loosen up. It’s a neat way of keeping you brushing properly. As with other models, there’s a two-minute timer, with a pulse every 30 seconds encouraging you to move onto the next quadrant. Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 – Brush performance All three includes features such as a smartimer which is set to 2 minutes, to take the guesswork out of keeping your teeth clean, a total of 2 weeks of battery life, and a brushing pacer so that you get all the nooks and cranniesThe Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6100 ships with two W2 Optimal White brush heads, which have bristles around the outside for getting between teeth, and a pad inside for whitening and polishing. Not every electronic toothbrush will be able to accommodate how sensitive your gums and teeth are. Toothbrushes that vibrate too strongly or have bristles that are too rough can cause damage to sensitive teeth and gums, which will cause you a lot of unnecessary pain.

The ProtectiveClean 6100 doesn’t bother with complicated connected features, but is instead intended to be as simple and effortless to use as possible.Verdict: The Sonicare 6100 is the best option out of all three models for sensitive gums and teeth. Since it has three cleaning modes and three different intensity levels, it will be a perfect fit for everyone with any level of sensitivity. The low level intensity setting will be especially good for the most sensitive users. This model is comfortable, boasts an excellent battery life, and presents excellent cleaning capabilities
