About this deal

A Stone Of Destiny And Despair is the heart-pounding fourth book in the Tales of Levanthria fantasy-retelling series. The dialogue at times felt jarring and unnatural, or like the author didn't trust the reader to understand what was going on and then made a joke about it. A Sea Of Sorrow And Scorn is the gripping second book in the Tales of Levanthria fantasy-retelling series. Once a distinguished priest serving in the grand temple of Askela, Jordell Torvin now walks a very different path.

Vireo Reinhold is loving his life as a tax collector, being surrounded by his best friends at all times. If you are still wondering how to get free PDF EPUB of book A Forest Of Vanity And Valour (The Levanthria Series Book 1) by A. While you don't really grow with either character, you do get a good understanding of where they come from. I enjoyed the backstory of the characters and even trying to figure out who would be who in the original Robin Hood. The writing itself flip flops between being fairly original and realistic in its execution to having a decent amount of clichés common to the fantasy genre. Haunted by a vision of a sword that holds the power to prevent a catastrophic war, he has spent the last three years in pursuit of this elusive artifact, even as his magic use subjects him to a creeping corruption that is slowly eating him alive. With his brutality unleashed for the bloodlust of crowds, can he cling to his inner hero and claw Eltera back from the brink? From intricacies of plotting and scene-setting to character development, Beswick expanded his skill set as he poured his heart into the pages.

Robin Hood was selfless and did what he could for the poor cause he genuinely wanted to help the people. However the author makes the main character seem like an egotistical debt collector who enjoys hurting people the robinhood like figure. I went into this with fairly high expectations after seeing it blow up online due to a tiktok video. I saw the authors TikTok for this book and was immediately intrigued by a darker robin hood retelling. put his own spin on the story with richly developed characters, incredible world building, and magic! If 9/10 sentences are simply stating what the character does next without any variation, it becomes tedious. Not the worst book I’ve read in 2023, but hella disappointing for how good it looked on TikTok and the cover is pretty legit.

I don’t know if this book just wasn’t for me because my expectations were too high, or if I fell for the advertising.Take Robin Hood, put him in a fantasy setting, and start incorporating other legendary characters like King Arthur and Blackbeard into the same world. Will Jordell Torvin succumb to his own corruption, or will he wield a divine destiny to save his world from despair? Admission of guilt: Bought Forest of Vanity and the following three books mostly based on the covers and the fun Tiktoks from the author.
