About this deal

This contractual Warranty applies only to the hardware components of POCO Product (hereafter “Product”) as originally supplied and does not apply to any software or other equipment that are owned by Xiaomi or third parties for which an end-user license agreement or separate warranty/guarantee statements or exclusions are provided or intended to apply. 1. LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY

However, the Poco X3 Pro’s main camera performs noticeably worse than some of the alternatives, including Xiaomi's own Poco X3 NFC and Redmi Note 10 Pro. Xiaomi has managed to include a Snapdragon 732G CPU here, which is considerably more capable than the silicon employed by rival devices. The Redmi Note 9 (from another Xiaomi sub-brand) uses the insipid MediaTek Helio G85 CPU, while the Motorola G8 runs on the lesser Snapdragon 665. The Poco X3 has a 6.67-inch screen. Despite coming to this device from the 6.53-inch Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, the difference is obvious – so prepare yourself. Although, since Poco phones tend to attract the enthusiast crowd, it likely won’t be a huge problem to them. They might also want to consider the Poco X3 NFC’s screen. It’s a large 6.67-inch IPS LCD that gets reasonably bright (450 nits) and sharp (1080 x 2400 or FHD). But the real stand-out spec here is a 120Hz refresh rate. Video, too, is solid. It tops out at 4K resolution, 30 frames per second. There’s no 4K/60 here. However, electronic image stabilization is available right up to the top capture mode.Same view shot with Poco X3 NFC's normal lens (Image credit: Basil Kronfli/Digital Camera World) Poco X3 NFC: Camera performance However, it is outperformed by the Realme 8 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC. This is a big issue if you value camera performance over gaming power.

The only time we got close to needing to recharge before midnight was on a day with some travelling. It was fairly low by the evening, but only because we’d mistakenly left the Poco X3 NFC’s Wi-Fi hotspot switched on for several hours. Oops. MIUI is also nice and fluid, except on the odd occasion where the hardware can’t quite keep up with that 120Hz display. It’s nothing drastic, and likely nothing that the software would be able to help much with, but you can tell you’re not dealing with a true flagship here. Poco X3 NFC battery life – Ample stamina and super-fast charging There’s nothing obvious that we can put our finger on to explain these – very minor – blips, which leads us to believe that a system stability update is all that’s needed to zap them. Still, right now, the Realme X50 5G and its Snapdragon 765G processor get you closer to that “flagship” feel on a budget. The Poco X3 seems to have the most measured approach to exposure and contrast. It’s better at preserving highlights than the Redmi Note 9, and doesn’t try as hard to make images pop through sharpening and contrast-boosting as the Samsung. The phone scores 2,530 points in Geekbench 5, far greater than the 1,800-ish of Snapdragon 765G phones like the OnePlus Nord. It roughly matches phones like the Samsung Galaxy S20 and OnePlus 7T. There’s plenty of detail retained in middling to good light, and while OIS would have been improved this further, at the price, the X3 NFC compensates for handshake impressively.

On paper it has typical hardware for this class. There's a 48MP primary camera, a basic 8MP ultra-wide,and two terrible 2MP macro and depth cameras. We’re fine with the numbers. We're used to ‘filler' cams in affordable phones. The Poco X3 Pro lost ground in the camera section of this review, but it makes up a good deal of it with its chipset. That’s the Snapdragon 860, a processor that should interest many of you. a) Damage due to acts of nature or God, for example, lightning strikes, tornadoes flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes;THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS CONVEYED BY LAWS OF YOUR COUNTRY, PROVINCE OR STATE. In the Geekbench 5 CPU benchmark, the Poco scored 570 in the single-core test and 1,798 in multi-core processing. By comparison, our current budget favourite, the MediaTek Helio G85-powered Redmi Note 9, is roughly 40% slower in the same benchmark, and it’s a similar story with the Moto G9 Play and Samsung Galaxy M31. What edges the Poco X3 NFC ahead of phones in its price class, however, is the fact the night mode is respectable, dynamic range is broad, and saturation leans towards the more natural, muted tones than phones from the likes of Samsung, giving you room to edit. Additionally, the X3 captures ultra-steady video, with stabilization active at up to 4K resolution (30fps) and it looks really good. The Poco X3 Pro's screen looks sharp, color is bold, and the fairly large size instantly gives you the sense it’s made for games, video, and other stuff the enthusiast Poco crowd would enjoy. Poco phones seem to be popular among people who like to get a lot of tech for their cash.
