About this deal
Henrietta is a world-famous architect, and the only mouse in the world who knows what makes a squirrel or a rabbit, a caterpillar or a frog feel at home. A dreamer, a designer, an artist, and a creator, Henrietta works at her drawing board to imagine the perfect home for each of her friends, be they woodland, water, subterranean or winged creatures. Every animal in the forest can have a home they love with the help of Ms. Mouse in this whimsical and educational book about design and architecture.
I don't really know why I want one of these. I don't like cooking, and a breakfast bar would probably do the job just as well. Actually breakfast bar would do as kitchen-island-lite, especially if it had those vintage bar stools that used to live in a tractor. But the island is somehow the ultimate in I've-made-it kitchen accessories. And I like rubbish TV shows such as Love Island and I like tropical islands and no man is an island so that could have something to do with it. 5) Carrera marble With clever features, like a trapdoor for Mole or a telescope platform for Owl, and the ideal placement, like high in a pine for Squirrel or inside a pear for Caterpillar, Henrietta Mouse’s houses are both practical and beautiful—in short, ingenious! This picture book for children 4 to 8 presents imaginative floorplans to homes for 14 creatures—from the land, sky, and water—all designed, built, and decorated by Henrietta Mouse—whose willingness to look the other way in considering her clients’ tastes and habits (a gaudy palace for the pig, a villa for a cat that would otherwise kill him) is an ideal of circumspect behavior under unseemly conditions.
