Please see below to determine your hand size: The Logitech Lift has an idiosyncratic design, which may not work for everyone. It has a few software issues to iron out, and a rechargeable battery would have been nice. Still, the Lift has an awful lot to like. From its striking design to its excellent performance to its handy extra features, the Lift is a worthwhile accessory for hardcore productivity and general computing alike.
The textured rubber panel provides a soft comfortable feel while giving a good grip. Try to keep your wrists straight and your hand in a natural, relaxed position while using, to get the best experience. You can scroll horizontally with your mouse. This is done with a two-button combination: Press and hold one of the side buttons and scroll with the wheel simultaneously.

Like other wireless peripherals priced at the lower end of the market, there are no charging capabilities or rechargeable batteries inside. Instead, it uses one AA battery. While that doesn’t feel very environmentally friendly, it can last up to 24 months before needing to be replaced. Logitech software lets you assign other useful functions to the buttons, including undo/redo, OS navigation, volume up/down, and more. The battery on the Lift is a bit of a double-edged sword. Logitech advertises that the Lift can last up to 24 months on a single charge, although the company doesn't specify exactly what conditions would facilitate that. I can say that in my own testing, the charge didn't drop below 100% after a few days of sustained office use. Supposing the mouse loses about 1% of charge per week, that would indeed put it in line with Logitech's estimate. The buttons are responsive and easy to press, though they’re not quite as satisfying to use as those with mechanical or optical-mechanical switches. At least they’re extremely quiet. We could reach all but the middle button easily; because it sits below the scroll wheel, we had to crook our index finder awkwardly to reach it.LIFT vertical mouse is designed to help you work better. With Logitech Flow, you can use the mouse cursor to move from one computer to the next. You can even copy and paste between computers, and if you have a compatible Logitech keyboard, the keyboard will follow the mouse and switch computers at the same time.
You can also fully customize the speed to your needs. Press and hold the cursor speed switch until the overlay appears and then simply move the mouse left or right to adjust the speed. While the Logitech Lift is generally a pleasure to use, it does take some getting used to. There’s a bit of a learning curve here, especially if you haven't used vertical mice before. Using it properly lets your arm rest in a way that doesn’t put pressure on the joints. Since we work long hours, it isn’t uncommon for us to experience arm and shoulder pain at the end of the day. Ergonomics are, therefore, a factor in our day-to-day life. And, we found that the Logitech Lift made a lot of difference. LIFT is supported by Logitech Options+. Combining the best features of Options with a brand new easy-to-use interface, Options+ Beta is designed to transform your daily tasks. On the other hand, having to replace batteries in a premium mouse feels a little bit outdated and wasteful. Ergonomics is front and center in the Logitech Lift
When we first started using it, for example, we kept putting our pinky finger down on the desk for support, negating the ergonomics of this mouse. Once we learned to trust it, however, we started gripping it in a way that put our hand and wrist at a more natural and neutral angle. Logi Options+ has a ton of other helpful features on hand too. Among those is the ability to remap all six buttons to a plethora of useful actions, with plenty of program-specific options on hand. For instance, we’re fans of being able to mute our mic during a video call with just a button press, and this is something you can map to one of the Lift’s buttons. You can also adjust the DPI settings here in increments of 100, ranging from 400 to 4000 DPI. Press the Easy-Switch button and select the channel you want to pair to. (Make sure the LED is blinking fast. If it's not, press and hold the button for 3 seconds). Line-by-line (ratchet) scroll — Get line-by-line precision when you need to focus on the details. Scroll slowly, you will feel each step on the wheel. Ideal for reading or precise navigation of items and lists. The Lift does have a few other interesting features if you're willing to do some legwork, however. First and foremost, there's the "easy-switch" functionality, which is present on most of Logitech's premium productivity mice. You can connect the Lift with up to three different devices simultaneously — a desktop, a laptop and a tablet, for example. The device offers both Bluetooth and USB wireless functionality, so this is relatively easy to do. Then, when you want to switch among devices, you simply press a button on the bottom of the mouse. The Logitech Lift is an attractive-if-unusual-looking mouse in whichever color you choose – rose, graphite or off-white (though only the graphite version is available for lefties). Since its form factor is meant for small or medium-sized hands, it’s not the tallest vertical mouse out there, but at 2.8in (71mm) high it will tower over more traditional models. It also has a broad, almost egg-shaped, base to keep it stable with dimensions of 2.7 x 4.25 inches (70 x 108mm). The mouse glides smoothly and accurately, and when it works, it works beautifully. However, we did experience an issue with its sensor several times during testing. Our review unit may have been defective, but sometimes the pointer acted up or changed DPI randomly. We’re not sure what to make of it, but hopefully, it was something unique to this particular unit. That said, the connectivity on the Lift is expansive for a wireless mouse in this price range. You may not be able to connect it to a device with a physical cable, but you can connect via Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless, both of which have a range of 10m. You can even connect the Lift to three devices simultaneously. It's also worth discussing the Logi Options+ software here, as that's how you'll control a lot of the Lift's optional features. This software is still in beta, but you can still accomplish everything that the older program, Logi Options, let you do. You can adjust the dots-per-inch (DPI) sensitivity, although Options+ just calls this "pointer speed," and uses percentages rather than actual numbers. This is a blow for power users, although maybe it's more comprehensible for newbies.
