It’s a good read - very interesting reading about the journey with Nadiya & also the full Rose & Gio journey tooWhy he agree to do Strictly that year and the challenge of keeping it secret (top tip - don't search for YouTube ballroom dance videos on the family PC as your kids will work it out!) How they approached their dances. Dan talks in depth about their Week dance, Week 5 VW (his turning point), surviving the Jive, Couple's Choice to 'Classic', American Smooth (apparently he couldn't put any weight on his left feet and was surpriving on painkillers and physio), their 'Desperado' Rumba (they found out in Week 6 that if they made it to Week 10, they would have Rumba) Rose and her Mum apparently were the first to arrive and were the last to leave, so they didn't just drop by like might be expected. Rose is obviously quite prominent in the book & does the foreword so there is a great friendship between Rose & Dan obviously. He really admires her & looks up to her. Nadiya's early life and how she made it as a ballroom champion, her inspiration (Slavik Krykliyvyy) how vital her Mum Larisa's support has been
