Owatrol Net-trol can be used to remove stains caused by tannin bleed, remove any traces of weathering and neutralise a wooden surface that has been stripped. It can be used on all species of softwoods including pressured treated timber, larch, pine, cedar etc. Can you please give us more information about what you were trying to remove and what method you used to do it so that we can understand the problem a little better?

When using a power washer or garden sprayer (Most seals are resistant to oxalic acid, especially in the dilute state) to apply Net-trol, it is important that the Net-trol is not over diluted in the mixing process.

It is safe to use on all exterior wood types and is also an excellent degreaser for use on tropical hardwoods to allow finishes like Deks Olje D1 to penetrate. NET-TROL® removes surface and ground in dirt while restoring a bright, vibrant look to the exterior surface. I can confirm that Net-Trol is safe for people with pets to use as it is washed away with copious amounts of water during the process.
