Perfect for a small family camping trip, the Vango Beta 450XL can comfortably accommodate up to four people. The tent gives an impressive space-to-weight ratio due to its tunnel design. The Vango Beta gets its sturdy stability from the Tension Band System, which can be adjusted to prevent sideways movement in strong, changeable winds. You can also store various pieces of camping gear in the functional porch area.

HOWEVER, after setting our tent up on the first afternoon (No problems, easy for two people) and having our first happy night (three little boys, vERY excited to be camping at last) we returned from our day trip the following day to find the whole tent flat on the ground.

Regarding seasons & climate, the tent is ventilated, tall and pleasant, perhaps a bit more suitable for a cooler climate. The waterproof rating is very good so you are fully protected. I would describe it as a true 3-season tent. Fairly easy to put up and plenty of room .You could sleep 6 but with the 2 separate bedrooms I feel it would be a comfy fit for 4 people plus all the gear . The main door under the porch is fully protected so you can keep it with mesh all the time. But you still have a panel that rolls up and you fix it above the door.
