About this deal

By far, Casio’s most popular digital model is the F-91W. At this point, it’s a modern classic. You see this watch all over the place, so it’s not surprising that Casio sells millions of units each year.

As mentioned, both have lug widths of 18mm but the ’84’ has a more traditional lug design. With the ’91’, the lugs are pretty much non-existent and should you decide the swap out the straps, it may run the risk of looking a little oddly flush against the case. The thin grooves on both the dial and strap are also very old school. Even the slightly different case shape of the F-84W makes it feel more retro than the F-91W. In any case, it’s odd, isn’t it? The 91 is “supposedly” the chunkier watch and yet the 84 seems to have been designed for a wider variety of wrist sizes. If anyone knows any other picture of the model F-91 W Japan U, it would be happy and public in this thread. If you thought the F-91W was as retro '80s as it got with Casio digitals (which it never was since it was intoduced as a 1991 model), you were wrong. The F-84W is the king of the hill. The only thing more retro is a late 1970s era Casiotron model! JIm on Quit Accepting, Start Hating – Why Brand Snobs and Replica Watches do NOT Belong In This Community! The upper left button, labeled "Light", turns on the light, cancels the alarm, resets the stopwatch or marks the split (lap) time, and is used for selecting settings. As much as I’ve touched on comfort earlier on, I should stress that the strap on the Casio F-91W is the more comfortable option for a long day out. While the strap of the ’84’ is more pliable, it doesn’t exactly wrap around the wrist as nicely as the ’91’s. The F-84W is especially great for smaller wrists. Unlike many other digital watches, it doesn’t look bulky at all.

In the F-91 W manufactured in Japan like other models of the F series, such as the F-84w, does not work to apply the right button and see the word CAsio.I like the F-91W, but I actually prefer the lesser-known F-84W, a watch that I don’t think gets enough attention.

The design has quite a few noticeable changes from the F-91W. It has less text, and while some of the labeling is the same, it appears in different places on the F-84W. I wore both for the same amount of hours and trust me, while this may sound trivial, I found myself adjusting the ’84’ on my wrist more often than the ’91’. 6. Same, same but not the same (?) The right button, labeled "Alarm On-Off/24hr", is the function button: when used, it starts and stops the stopwatch, changes the settings currently being adjusted, or switches between the 12- and 24-hour modes, depending on what mode the watch is currently in. Pressing all three buttons at the same time will fill all the cells on the LCD until any button is pressed again. [10]There's retro, and then there's really retro. Where 1980s Casio digital watch designs are concerned, this is as retro as it gets. More than a dozen detainees were cited for owning cheap digital watches, particularly "the infamous Casio watch of the type used by Al Qaeda members for bomb detonators." D Little by little I will be adding more information and more curiosities of this module 593 Japanese of the F-91 W. Greetings.
