It then featured briefly in the 1996 Doctor Who television movie, before making a full return in the 2005 continuation of the series.

Using her vortex manipulator, River returned to Demons Run shortly after the conclusion of the Battle of Demons Run, mere minutes after Kovarian had fled with her infant body.
