Another guaranteed way to avoid powder flashback is to spray a fixing or setting spray over the face. It’s tough because I’ve found that on some people the RCMA does better in terms of oil control than the Laura Mercier TP and visa versa. For this reason, if and when I reach for the RCMA powder, I only use it on my T-zone where I tend to get more oily, as it’s great at absorbing oils.
