This is a 27-inch VA display, so contrast ratios are better than IPS, however as we all know the trade-off is limited viewing angles and response time. Well, BenQ have done something special with the engineering in this display and it’s a fast 1ms MPRT /165Hz panel. It comes with AMD’s Freesync Premium Pro and 3000:1 HDR400.
Thoughts on the BenQ Mobiuz EX2710R
Motion clarity at 165Hz is excellent in the standard mode, with minimal motion blur and no ghosting. This is among the best motion clarity that can be found without opening your wallet for a more expensive 27-inch, 240Hz display like the Alienware AW2721D. Competitive gamers will be pleased. Another minor potential gripe was that we constantly switched between preset colour and performance modes to suit what we were watching – there wasn’t a one-size-fits-all mode, but you can make good use of custom settings to help alleviate this. As for connections, there are 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4, a USB Type B Up and two USB 3.0 Downstream.
