About this deal

It cannot be worst than the book of Bobba Fett (I hope); the first 2 episodes were fine but then nothing happened. Bobba should have had vengeance against somebody on every single episode. Fennec Shand was apparently one of the greatest killer of the Galaxy - her role has been completely wasted (same happened to Captain Phasma). I believe there were a few episodes where we did not see either Bobba Fett or Fennec Shand. The whole premise of the show is: a Jedi guy(one of the few remaining) goes to a sh!tty planet to babysit (in secret) a boy for 18 years. During that time, he has to evade people looking for him. (Would be cool if he crosses Cassian Andor at some point). There’s no denying what they are. It’s a perfectly cromulent word. If you’re one, stop making excuses so Feloni and Favreau can fix it once KK is hit by a bus/plane/comet. " As far as putting everything true to what we saw on screens into a LEGO set, 75334 Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader delivers, and does so with the usual skill we have come to expect of LEGO Star Wars in 2022. The price is unarguably more than the set is actually worth, but the same can be said for most LEGO Star Wars sets nowadays.

The minifigures are honestly pretty great, and Vader having arm printing is what everyone wanted at an affordable price. However, I assume those don't go very far. But what DOES go far is buying power. If consumers choose not to buy them, perhaps they will realize this isn't what sells. Maybe I am being too naive. But if we keep buying lame sets just because, that sends the wrong message as well. There really is no debate that this set is a big, expensive, grey mess. However, such excellent minifigs will eventually drive sales once the proper incentive is provided (threat of price increase, good GWP, nothing else to buy, etc.). It definitely should have a way to manipulate the rotating platforms remotely, and the absence of such a feature hurts the set.Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader is based around the first meeting between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, as told in Part III of the Disney+ show Obi-Wan Kenobi. An out-of-sorts Kenobi is chased around an abandoned mining facility of sorts by his former apprentice Anakin Skywalker, complete in his terrifying Vader get-up, before they briefly come together. Can't speak for everyone, but I rarely buy recent sets anymore. I always wait a couple of years for the aftermarket, sets sold from households that are growing out of sets and the like. But even that is not much. This year I've almost entirely bought sets from before 2010.

But this, I suspect, is probably more interesting to a great many of the kids that make up LEGO’s core audience, and I’m sure that’s who TLG was targeting with it. That’s still not to say it isn’t pricey for what one gets, and I’m not sure it’s not overpriced, but I do think the price makes a lot more sense when one takes into account the play features that so many of us just ignore because we don’t care about them.NED-B’s design is spot-on in very many ways, drawing focus in particular for that moulded head-piece, and for that the droid is the standout minifigure. That being said, there’s one way in which the minifigure doesn’t sit true to expectations – this LEGO version of the droid is actually quite short when stood next to the other minifigures, and that sits in contrast to how part of its big character moments in the show are reflective of its large size.

dystopian rage-malaise from the actions of Lego™?. Well done! I believe I agree with everything you said. I'd say the bigger issue than "boi" is @peterlmorris calling for someone to be hit by a bus because he doesn't like the entertainment product she's putting out.Darth Vader completes the minifigure quartet, including his decorated arms which have only appeared three times before. Hopefully this signals their continued availability in smaller sets, after 75202 Imperial Shuttle suggested the best Darth Vader minifigure would be reserved for adult-oriented sets. The metallic silver sheen of his shoulder armour looks fantastic. Personally I think the show is great. Its just proving the adage that "nobody hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans" unfortunately. It doesn't help either that there is a Star Wars-hate complex, that has popped up on YouTube to monetize bashing Star Wars, and now that the sequels are over the hate mongers need to bash whatever else is new. They're mad Kenobi is a broken man struggling with PTSD, and not a badass video game character that crushes people's throats and lives out a male fantasy daily. They will be bashing Ms. Marvel by the end of the day, Thor Love and Thunder in a couple weeks, then Andor and Bad Batch Season 2... its their path, its their way to make money, shill their political opinions; and get mindless fans to follow them while they laugh to the bank. A rotten lot the bunch of them.

Removing the helmet does reveal something to differentiate this version of Darth Vader from others though, as the head is unique. The scarring looks suitably gruesome, as always, while Vader's hateful expression is preferable to his usual smile. Intricate detail continues across the reverse and this minifigure wields a red lightsaber. I'm not a designer and I'm not saying it should be like that. But out of personal experience I can say that as a kid I always liked the unusual additions to licensed sets that weren't necessarily accurate but more fun. The first Republic Gunship could split into a base and a flyer. The first X-Wing had lots of storage places. The first MTT could turn into a weird base thing. The Tusken encounter set had access to the water storage. Stuff like that. P.P.S. The Grand Inquisitor and the Fifth Brother originally came in a couple of great sets ( 75188, that's five years ago." The set was provided for review by LEGO. All opinions expressed are those of the author. MinifiguresInstead, the platform contains another function, as a band of flames is hidden inside. Opening the platform creates space to raise these trans-orange pieces using a switch beside the cargo sled, approximating the flames which eventually separate Darth Vader and Obi-Wan onscreen. Once again, I like how this function is integrated, but 75326 Duel on Starkiller Base achieved a similar effect with far fewer pieces. We’ve been down this road before with Darth Vader, though –at the moment, LEGO Star Wars is not a theme for taller minifigures. Now if they were blue cat people, we’d be on to something… Also, buying minifigs from the secondary market gives my hard-earned coin to the infamous parts monkeys (Damn you! parts monkeys!! (shakes fist)). After all, someone has to buy the set. If I get the figs from BL parts monkeys (grrrrr!), Lego™? has still sold a set. Whether you get the whole set, or just the figs, you will still help the CEO of Lego™? to eat cake in his new custom Ferrari. As far as the build goes, I will admit it could have been better, but it is reasonably accurate. I think tan might've been more accurate to the show for the ground, but it was pretty dark in the scene and hard to tell what exactly the environment was like.
