About this deal

Modify the Genestealer Infestation battlezone rules from Vigilus Defiant, replacing the Genestealer Infestation datasheet with that of an Ambull. He’s also able to ‘motivate’ any Traitor Guardsmen that are nearby with his unique action Execute the Weak. At the start of each battle round, the players roll-off to see who controls a roving Ambull for the duration of that battle round.

Further detracting from this theory is the fact that there is some evidence that the manipulations of the enigmatic C'tan known as The Deceiver set the Gothic War in motion to ensure the scattering and/or destruction of these artefacts. Its massive remains were flung from orbit onto the surface of Cadia as an artificial meteor, its kinetic impact killing most of Cadia's remaining defenders and at last allowing the Eye of Terror to swallow the world. The geothermal stress caused by the fortress' impact ultimately caused Cadia to rip itself apart.Armed with an assault cannon and power claw, UR-025 is incredibly useful in both shooting and close combat. Any Imperial commander will find them very handy – or should that be claw-y? Just don’t ask too many questions about where his Tech-priest is…

Abaddon the Despoiler first learned of the Fortresses sometime in M40, where he was guided by the visions of Zaraphiston to an Eldar Crone World. There, he read an ancient prophecy revealing their existence. Encounter, Discovery, Exploration and Hostile cards offer new challenges and twists for your adventures.Reaching the fortress' location requires a small and highly maneuverable spacecraft. Located close to the fortress is a small void station known as Precipice, created from the hulls of ruined starships and inhabited by a ragtag population of explorers and scavengers from across the galaxy that consists of individuals drawn from many different starfaring races. An uneasy truce endures aboard Precipice, which is enforced by a small cadre of powerful and influential starship captains looking to maintain stability on the station to pursue their own interests. As Mallex and the Chaos Cultists erect vile fanes to the Dark Gods, he exerts more control over the fortress itself. The world-shattering weaponry that has lain dormant for aeons now stirs, and Precipice is in the line of fire. The explorers must stop them before Mallex threatens the stability and balance of the entire region – and perhaps even the Imperium itself. Cultist Firebrands are absolutely deadly at mid-range, and they also inflame the zeal of nearby Cultist hostiles. Their bodies are swollen with infernal power… so let’s just say you don’t want to be standing close to one when they’re killed… Anything that Janus Draik can do, Neyam Shai Murad can do just as well and on only one leg! She brings a withering hail of pistol fire. Like many Kroot, Dahyak Grekh is a mercenary, working for the highest bidder. The Kroot mercenary code of honour is key to him – for it is through loyal service that the Kroot may consume new genetic material. Through eating many unfortunate inhabitants of the fortress and thus assuming their memories, Grekh has learned much of the mysteries within… How Does He Play?
