When a club’s launch night consists of a 27-hour party on New Year’s Eve, you know it’s going to be the start of something very special. Though this set the bar high, every event since this final night of 2017 has more than lived up to expectation. From Global, the UK’s biggest commercial radio brand, Heart Dance will play the greatest feel good club classics from the likes of Basement Jaxx, Daft Punk, Ne-Yo, Ultra Naté, Fatboy Slim and Armand Van Helden. They’ve got bespoke Funktion-One soundsystems that spread across two separate rooms (plus one room for chilling), meaning you’ll find it easy to stay all the way through ’til the 7am licence finish. This season the club also unveils its all new, awe-inspiring, state of the art A/V and lighting system, with floor-to-wall screens offering a whole new visual dimension above the crowds dancing below. Created by none other than Spencer at Rebel Overlay, they’ve also got over 151 lighting fixtures, which range from spots to beams to lasers to pixel-mapped LED bars. So, if you’re looking to really party hard, then E1 is a pretty good bet we’d say! You may be surprised to hear that the night was a success, and within weeks, anyone who was anyone on the London club scene had heard about this new spot that had landed in the centre of the city.

Once known as The Ace, then The Fridge, and now Electric Brixton. This next one really is a great addition to our list of nightclubs in London. Fridays at Phonox are simple: one dance floor, one great soundsystem, DJs all bloody night long. Mantra on Saturdays are co-presented by music legends Skinny Macho, Bossy LDN, Tommy Gold, and P-Rallel playing on rotation every week (but keep your eye out for collabs and very special guests to boot too). On Friday and Saturday nights, Heart Dance will get the weekend in full swing as Heart’s Club Classics will be simulcast on both Heart and Heart Dance, with Toby Anstis hosting every Friday from 7pm and Pandora on Saturday from 7pm. A former printing plant turned artist-led, community-driven nightclub and arts space with one room, one bar, and one smoking area in the Canning Town area of London. And you may need to shout here, as when the club’s full you’ll be dancing alongside 3,000 other ravers! Did we also mention they’ve got cannons, giant LED screens and an ‘Octopus’ lighting system? It really has to be seen to be believed… Previously housing artists like The Rolling Stones, Prince, and Camden-local Amy Winehouse, KOKO has always been a legendary live music and clubbing venue. Madonna performed her first UK show here, and Coldplay, Grace Jones, Prince, Lady Gaga and Kanye West have all played here too. years later, this former bus garage is still putting sound at the forefront of everything as ‘ the home of dance music‘.
