The things I worried about were things like going from no one knowing who you are to being in front of 9 million people every night, or worrying about how the show producer's are going to edit things to make you come across, or how the press are going to perceive you, that's all a worry. It didn't seem like the right platform to share that, but with this book, it did feel like the right platform. I am sure that many parents, including myself, wonder how they will explain to their child about their sibling’s autism. Leah says she had been more excited than nervous when first given the chance to take part in the show and had not known what to expect.This book is extremely poignant and what I like about it is that it tells it simply how it is, this book is for children yes, but it does not talk down to children, it explains in an age appropriate manner what autism is.
