Is the novel a fast-paced read? There is so much to say about this book that I really enjoyed. First off I really enjoyed the mix of various creatures from demons, witches, werewolves, vampires etc. I also really liked the general premise that forced Scarlett to seek out the dangerous Lucien. It felt believable. I was not however a huge fan of so many changing perspectives. I tend to like only one or two but the varying point of views did allow for other aspects of the story to be told. At times I also struggled with some of the typos that pulled me out of the story, but if you can past them you can see that story has a lot of great potential. Characters like Scarlett and Lucien and their impending love really started to pull me in. The extra spicy scenes were really enjoyable as well. Overall, I can see the threads of some awesome next books and am excited to see the other characters pair up and go on adventures. I also have tons of unanswered questions that I am excited to find answers to.
