About this deal

Upon discovering that somebody is attempting to seize the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and his friends enter the underground chambers to protect it. The minifigure features a familiar tousled hair component and his double-sided head is common as well, appearing in fifteen sets since 2018. This design remains effective, but an alternative would be appreciated. Numerous memorable subjects have appeared frequently throughout the LEGO Harry Potter theme. However, the secure third-floor corridor remains noticeably uncommon, only appearing twice since this impressive range was launched twenty years ago. Young witches and wizards will enjoy endless magical fun with LEGO® Harry Potter™ Hogwarts™: Fluffy Encounter (76387). This reconfigurable playset features favourite characters, familiar locations and a 3-headed dog for 3 times the fun! Put Harry Potter magic into kids’ hands with 3 popular minifigures – Harry Potter, Ron Weasley™ and Hermione Granger™ – and Fluffy, the giant, 3-headed Hogwarts dog. Fluffy’s legs can be placed into a range of positions and each of the 3 movable heads shows a different expression. The set comprises 5 separate modules that connect in a variety of ways: a large room with a trap door; magic-practice room; rooftop; balcony room; and a room containing the tangled tentacles of the Devil’s Snare plant. There are other surprises too: an exclusive, golden, anniversary Hermione Granger minifigure, 2 random wizard card tiles, and the chance to add more rooms to create an entire Hogwarts Castle model.

This toy is one of a series of authentically detailed modular sets that kids can build, combine and rearrange to create their own Hogwarts™ Castle model. Includes Harry Potter™, Hermione Granger™ and Ron Weasley™ minifigures, a buildable giant dog with 3 heads, 5 buildable modules, and authentic accessories including a magical harp. Next is a configuration that hinges the hospital wing in just one place, creating two towers with bases of 8×24 studs. Though the Great Hall no longer looks like itself at all, this setup looks decently Hogwarts-y (technical term). Finally, we really threw the modules together at random, creating two disconnected towers that hardly look good but could be something a kid playing around with the system cooks up. Finally, here are the two Hospital Wings closer together. The side tables and lamps share some design features, while the beds are entirely different and even a different colour, with the older set using sand green bedding.Hogwarts: Fluffy Encounter falls very clearly into that latter category, taking the premise of 4709 Forbidden Corridor – Fluffy the three-headed dog guarding a trapdoor above the Devil’s Snare – and remixes it into a modern-day build. But can a premise that seemed only slightly solid in 2001 hold its own in 2021? — Set details — Even across these initial builds, there were already some idiosyncrasies and shortcomings present: for instance, the door section of 76395 Hogwarts First Flying Lesson doesn’t follow these rules, and the Chamber of Secrets module has a bit of Great Hall interior attached to it, making it awkward on the interior to attach anything other than the Great Hall module.

More manuals of Lego Frequently Asked Questions about Lego set 76387 Harry Potter Hogwarts Fluffy encounter The set measures over 12 in. (30 cm) high, 7.5 in. (19 cm) wide and 2.5 in. (7 cm) deep and connects easily to other LEGO® Harry Potter™ sets. The updated Hogwarts modular system has proven somewhat divisive, although both 76386 Hogwarts: Polyjuice Potion Mistake and 76389 Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets have definitely provoked positive responses. 76387 Hogwarts: Fluffy Encounter seems less successful in my opinion, particularly because the arrangement of different sections is inefficient. Moreover, placing the balcony structure underground seems strange, although that becomes unnecessary after combining this model with others. Once again, the interior seems relatively sparse and recalls 4706 Forbidden Corridor, including two flaming torches which are mounted on the wall. While the balcony seems adequate, perhaps these pieces could have created the entrance for the Chamber of Winged Keys instead. In any case, these minor oddities don’t prevent all the modules being arranged however you like, and 2022 brings even more variety into the system. 76401 Hogwarts Courtyard: Sirius’s Rescue and 76402 Hogwarts: Dumbledore’s Office, both to be released in June 2022, will introduce corner modules, while 76398 Hogwarts Hospital Wing provides the ability to hinge Hogwarts in one, two, or three sections.Fluffy was represented by a specialised component with extremely limited articulation during 2001, reflecting LEGO's method of depicting animals throughout that period. This design has been completely overhauled, hence the creature now consists primarily of standard elements. Only the heads are formed using specialised components, which look brilliant. Now let’s start putting more modules together. In the configuration below, we’ve kept the sections we mentioned earlier together, with the Great Hall above the Chamber of Secrets, the Forbidden Corridor above the Devil’s Snare, and the bathroom above the chute down to the chamber. While the hospital wing does not belong on Hogwarts’ lowest level, achieving locational accuracy is neither the point of this system nor really a possibility at all, and this configuration looks surprisingly good to us. An enchanting birthday, Christmas and holiday gift that will captivate young witches and wizards aged 8 and up. LEGO® Harry Potter™ Hogwarts™: Fluffy Encounter (76387) has everything a Harry Potter fan could want: favourite characters, familiar Hogwarts locations and a thrilling, 3-headed dog. Certain modules are also intended to specifically align with others, like the trap door in 76387 Hogwarts Fluffy Encounter sitting above the Devil’s Snare module also found in that set, or 76386 Hogwarts Polyjuice Potion Mistake ideally being placed above the module in 76389 Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets that contains the chute down to the eponymous chamber.
