Connections is a word puzzle game published every day by the NYT, the hosts of the endlessly popular Wordle puzzle. Crafted each day by crossword puzzle-maker Wyna Liu, Connections presents you with a selection of 16 seemingly disparate words, and you have to group them together in four sets of four, where each group of four words has a common theme. Ravine is a survival simulation game where players must manage resources and make decisions to survive in a harsh and unforgiving environment. This game appeals to players who enjoy strategy and resource management, as well as those who are fans of survival games. Development RoadmapRavenfield is being developed as an early access game, with major content updates scheduled to be released every 4-6 weeks. Additionally, incremental updates are distributed via a beta branch for those who do not fear slightly more buggy releases.

You need to manage your resources and make group decisions about risks, but things are kept simple (and almost party-game-like). I am also hoping the developer continues to make more riding lessons. So it feels like I am really a student taking lessons in the game. I don’t recall the last game I played a game that was this easy to set up or to teach to a full table of new players.

Rust – a survival game set in a harsh, open world environment, where players must gather resources, build shelters, and fend off other players in a fight for survival. I have not experienced any other horse game like that. Combining separate controls for reins and legs while also using them in a realistic way. You can even ask your horse for a flying change using a new outside leg and inside rein at the canter. I mean yay!

I will say the scenes and landscape look beautiful. I was getting a sort of Red Dead Redemption vibe going on. That needs to slow down to make it more user friendly. It kind of makes me dizzy when I move it around too much. The anatomy of the horses in this game are just not up to par compared to the other games coming out. The rider looks too big for the horse. I am not sure why it is called Horse Shelter 2022, because it made me think this game was about rescuing and rehabilitating horses. Additionally, the game offers a high degree of replayability, as each playthrough can be different due to the random generation of the world, resources, and events. This means that players can continue to enjoy the game even after multiple plays, as the experience is never exactly the same.This is not my first choice when it comes to the new horse games, but I can see some potential for it being fun. What I found interesting is that riding in the outdoor and indoor near the barn and house was a bit laggy and teensy bit blurred sometimes. It was slightly annoying. Don’t Starve – a survival game that takes place in a mysterious wilderness and features hand-drawn 2D graphics. Worse, players with only one health point left are unable to forage for themselves so the rest of the group will have to gamble with their own health to find restorative food for those who are on the brink of death or else risk another devastating outburst of madness from survivors on the brink of death. Just a warning. In the dialogue there is an F bomb, in the 1st riding lesson on the demo, (game demographic is towards adults.) Learn how to cut and style your horses’ hair from the stylist! Keep an eye on your horses as their hair will grow over time.The rulebook is clearly laid out and split into the various phases of the game. Although it might have been nice to include a few examples for clarity, we didn’t have much trouble understanding the cards.
