About this deal

When it comes to attaching it to your buggy, the Baby Jogger Glider Board is easy to fit. It can also be flipped and clipped away when not in use and it won’t stop you folding your buggy when attached either. Like the Oyster board though, this board designed to fit only one brand of pushchairs, which means that it won’t be of use if you don't have a Baby Jogger design.

The carrycot hood opens and closes using a press in button on each side. The hood is very similar to the pushchair hood except that there is no zip concealing the middle section. We will arrange for the manufacturer to collect your pram from your home within 5-7 days free of charge, or you can drop it off at our store if preferred, and we’ll arrange collection from there. I wanted a pushchair which could be used for a fairly young infant (less than 12 months), but would last through to toddlerhood – therefore a forward and rear-facing seat was essential. The Oyster 3 has a proper enclosed calf rest so that little feet can rest comfortably without falling off at the sides. The foot rest will pop up if you felt your little one needed additional support under their feet. This is particularly useful for an older baby who just needs legs supporting. A small detail that we like is the silver on the footrest adjustment buttons – it just adds to the premium feel. For an older child there is a good lower footrest with plenty of room for little feet. The grooves on the footrest should ensure a child doesn’t slip when clambering in and out with wet feet. The seat all round feels very spacious and long, however because of this we would want to use a baby nest or snug for a newborn, just because we think they would feel lost in the seat. The Oyster Ride-On Board has been designed especially for on the go. This perfect partner eliminates the need for a double buggy when you have younger and older children. When you first look at the Oyster 3, its hard to actually believe it is related to the Oyster 2. When you see the Oyster 3 folded it is FLAT! Yes, flat- and when folded with the seat both forward AND parent facing! The fold was always the most frustrating part of the old Oyster strollers, because it was bulkier than really a small fold pushchair should have been. However when the Oyster 3 is open, it looks huge. When we first saw the Oyster 3 next to the Oyster 2, it made the Oyster 2 look like a doll’s pram. The chassis feels bigger, the seat is definitely bigger and higher, and the hood is larger. Everything about the Oyster 3 is bigger. But yet, the fold is actually smaller! Hard to believe….but it is true!

Unlike most nursery retailers we specialize in both new and pre loved items, this allows our customers to choose from a wide selection of low and high branded prams and more. All of our pre loved items are carefully selected and sent to our professional team of cleaners who then fully strip all fabrics, steam clean, restore any wear and tear and once its had a new lease of life we then offer to our customers that may want a high end item but don’t want to pay full retail price. If you have more than one small child, you may find a buggy board an ideal way to upgrade your buggy or stroller to carry your older child, rather than investing in a double buggy that may only be used for a few months. Reviewers say that buggy boards are handy for short trips out when you need to keep everyone moving at a faster pace than toddler speed. We love the Oyster logo leatherette detail on the apron, and the leatherette on the handle, which just finishes the Oyster 3 carrycot off with a touch of style. A rather ugly plastic label with a yellow sun, tells you that the hood has a 50+ UV Protection rating on it. A more discreet fabric tag would have looked better on such a stylish product in our opinion. But its only a tiny detail. Parents usually opt for the Maxi if they have a larger pram or a double buggy, and the Mini for a smaller stroller. We think the Maxi is easier to navigate over bumps and up and down kerbs, giving a slightly more stable ride, although both are secure for your tot to ride on. Lascal has produced a good quality, solid board, with a non-slip surface to help your child travel safely. It can be hooked out of the way when not in use for short periods or you can completely remove it with ease.

Connecting directly to the Bugaboo Bee5 and Fox models. With the addition of the 2017 Comfort Wheeled Board Adaptor, it is also compatible with the Bee+ (2010), Bee3, Donkey, Donkey2, Chameleon, Chameleon 3 and the Buffalo strollers. While the weight limit is the same for the Maxi and Mini buggy boards, the mini version suits lighter weight pushchairs, such as strollers, better. It’s slimmer than the maxi version, with all round smaller dimensions. Adaptive buggy boards: The all-in-one board that works as a small seat, as well as a stand-on platform. An excellent option for those who don’t want to buy a double pushchair, as the adaptive buggy board can do it for you at a much lower cost. We will, however, communicate with your pushchair manufacturer on your behalf to help ensure a smooth and efficient repair service. Choosing a buggy board, or ride-on board doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Knowing the differences will help you on your way:

You shouldn’t need any additional tools to attach your buggy board, and Lascal provide arm extenders to suit different pram and pushchair types and sizes. Once it’s attached, you can trim the straps on your pushchair, although this will mean you can’t use it somewhere else, for example if you wanted to switch it to a lightweight stroller in the future. Leaving your straps untrimmed gives you the option to remove it and use it on a different pushchair. What age is the Lascal BuggyBoard suitable for and what weight does it hold? Price-wise, this buggy board is one of the most affordable designs on our list. Compared to other stroller boards, it’s relatively purse-friendly; ideal if you’re not sure exactly how often you’ll use a buggy board but want to have one ready, just in case. For scooter mode, you turn the rear wheel into the fixed position. To allow for manoeuvrability when it’s attached to the buggy, you can turn it for a 360 degree swivel function. There are light up, colourful wheels and an adjustable handlebar that houses four height options, from 68cm (26 inches) to 90cm (35inches) so it will grow with your child. As a scooter, it can handle up to 50kg of weight or 20kg as a buggy board when attached to a pushchair. The Lascal Maxi is a standing board which doesn’t come with a seat. However, there’s an option to buy a compatible ‘saddle’, which can be bought separately if you decide your child would be happier sitting down. The saddle doesn’t come cheap so you’d have to factor this into the overall price if you want a seated buggy board. When compared to the other seated buggy board on our list, the BumpRider Sit Stroller Board, the Lascal Maxi works out as being quite a bit more expensive. The Bumprider Stroller Board offers impressive suspension for a comfortable ride along with an ergonomic non-slip surface to prevent your toddler from tumbling off in transit. This buggy board is also easy to fold away with a safety strap or disconnect when not in use.
