They cling a little bit to dead skin but not nearly as much as a matte lip cream would. These glide on smoothly and leave a soft, comfortable finish on the lips without being drying. The color payoff is pretty good and is buildable. The range of shades is versatile enough to suit different skin tones and preferences.

The texture is quite unique and they have a great color range you can experiment with. Typically with matte products, I get a lot of flaking but these were very comfortable to wear.
