Royal oud sits upon a woody foundation, joined by generous amounts of grass, smoke, citrus and spice for an overall profile that’s as profoundly versatile and masculine as it is earthy.Master perfumer, Emilie Bouge, was able to reset the perception of this majestic material by using oud as part of the scent’s top notes instead of the base where it would more commonly be found. Created by perfumer, Fabrice Pellegrin, it is a resinous and earthy scent with a brighter, lighter character which is sparked with ginger, cypriol and guaiac wood essences.
