When Guerrero is framed for a friend's murder and ends up in jail, Chance is forced to break him out. Below is a rant that I have been bottling in for some time. Should you read further, I will not blame you should you disagree. I just needed to get a few things off my chest.
I described this to my daughter as a comic book in film. Today, watching it again, I realize what this means. It is as if a staff at Marvel came up with a team of characters, an intriguing business for them, and put them on paper. They drew the characters, made the environment simple in the way a comic book (excuse me, 'graphic novel') would show it. Then the director took the comic book and placed the actors in the frame made with the camera and made it all flow - with action. A good chunk of humanoid threats will use some sort of weapon, magical doodad, or other item they rely on for their combat effectiveness. If you don't have enough damage output to simply take down the target while they're held, try disarming them of whatever they're dealing damage with instead. Then when they break free of your spell, they're still missing that item and should be a substantially minimized threat. Chance's ID is sent to a mysterious location after a computer signal bounces across several different continents. It is implied in the end of the episode by Guerrero that the signal belongs to Chance's yet unnamed "old boss", who has been hunting him down for years. Now, Chance's ex-boss is one step closer to finding him. A sophisticated and recently widowed billionaire who becomes a benefactor to Chance to aid their protection agency. Human Target is full of action, fun and everything you could catch in a regular action movie but never in a TV show. I agree that this show is one of the best of its genre in years. The episodes are incredibly intense in action, linear and its episodes are totally independent from each other, which makes it easier to follow whenever you want. The visual effects and dynamic edition are top of note here, much better than a lot of TV shows around there. I think that Human Target has all the elements for the entertainment and it really does what it promises.
