About this deal

When I tried this, I found that the ideal pH for blue hydrangeas is around or just below 5.5. At this level, blue hydrangea flowers stayed blue; pink turned blue, and red flowers turned purple. I used and preferred the powder as it was cheaper, lasted longer, and I’ve been told that the liquid can easily burn the leaves if spilt. Mix Hydrangea Colourant with the soil when potting in the proportion of one part to thirty parts of potting soil e.g. 250g in 7.5 litres. During growth water weekly with 30g Colourant per 5 litres of water. Hydrangea Colourant is most readily dissolved first in a little hot water.
