The book is very well written, the respect the Hammer Studios have for their actresses is clearly seen on the artwork design, there are a lot of interviews and informations on every actress figuring in the book. The book cover leaves little to the imagination, but putting the titillation appeal aside, this is a great book - and goes some way to filling in many of the blanks left in the absence of those beautiful faces. Stacked with all the Hammer beauties, as well as those who passed thru, it fleshes out the girls as ambitious, knowing and tells you where they are now.
