The Ei3024 is powered by 230V AC mains. In the event of mains failure, the rechargeable 10 year built in tamper-proof lithium cells will provide up to 3 months power supply in the case of a wireless RF installation or up to 6 months in any other case. Performing a regular test is a vital part of ensuring continued fire and carbon monoxide detection. Alarms should be tested monthly to ensure everything is working correctly. Most of our alarms have a 10-year life, after which they should be replaced to ensure you carry on getting the best protection.

A large Test / Silence button is fitted to the alarm enabling frequent testing. The silence function allows the alarm / system to be silenced in the case of a false alarm and low battery / fault noises. Above this is the ‘Replace By’ date, but note that the date on the label shows the maximum life of the alarm and alarms should always be replaced before their life is up. The Ei3024 can operate as a standalone Alarm or can be interconnected either by hard-wire or wirelessly (using the EI3000MRF module) enabling it to communicate with compatible Ei Alarms and accessories. Up to 20 devices can be interconnected. This alarm is a multi-sensor fire alarm - it contains both optical and heat sensors to provide a total fire coverage. The intelligent software it has installed allows it to detect all fire types (TF1 to TF6 & TF8) surpassing traditional single sensor Alarms. In addition, the chamber design, integrated insect screen and unique dust compensation algorithm reduce the risk of false alarms. If the alarm contains AudioLINK – Once the alarm has stopped activating and it is safe to enter the property extract a report to identify the details of the incident. The four-digit code shows you the year and week that the alarm was made. The first two digits relate to the year and the second two digits relate to the week. The memory feature allows an Alarm that has previously activated to be easily identified (through the red flashing LED).
