About this deal

In performance, we focus on 3 key areas: amplitude, stall force, and percussions. In our review of the previous Hypervolt we noted how the amplitude was low and how it felt like a vibrational device. This is the same as above apart from the supply is taken from an existing consumer unit. Remember not to share an RCD with another circuit. Both wiring methods can still be used. Ekrin included a pressure sensor on this latest device. What’s more, it actually feels better executed than what is on the Hypervolt 2. In terms of power, Ekrin 365 has more to offer than the Hypervolt 2 ever will. Even though the amplitude is the same 12mm, the 40lbs. of stall force makes it a perfect percussion massager for personal use and more. You can press it hard against the muscle and it won’t stall easily.

Little official scientific research has been conducted on the effects of massage guns, but many medical professionals have expressed that these devices have certain benefits. Doctors often recommend massage guns to patients who want to reduce muscle soreness/stiffness, improve flexibility, and increase range of motion after an injury or difficult workout. Massage guns like the Hypervolt work by using percussion technology to increase blood flow and soften tissue, ultimately reducing muscle pain. I like the new finish and even the weight of the GO 2. I don't need massage guns to be heavy, but if they are too light, I feel the motor can't be powerful enough to help batter stiffness away from the muscles. Hypervolt has developed a flawless, smart, and beautifully designed charger that meets all your domestic charging needs. The Cushion head: This one is a flat head variation with a softer touch. It’s used on tender and bony areas. Hyperice isn’t known for making massage guns with solid motors. In fact, their first device had a mere 35lbs. of stall force. They did make the Hypervolt Plus a bit stronger (about 45lbs.) but incredibly weakened their Hypervolt Go device.

When they made Hypervolt Go with a slanted handle, we were hoping that meant a new direction taken for future iterations of their devices. A tilted handle offers a more natural grip. Hypervolt handles have been improved, but Theraguns are still better to hold. If you are looking to have a DIY massage, Theraguns will be easier and more comfortable to use. For a non-DIY massage, we don’t think it really matters.

Hyperice has 3 products; the small and portable Hypervolt Go 2, and the two full-sized ones – Hypervolt 2 and more advanced Hypervolt 2 Pro. The Hypervolt Go 2 is Hyperice's smallest, lightest, quietest, and least expensive massage gun with, ironically, the most powerful force. Its slanted rubber handle is easy-to-use, and its noise levels only rise to 55 dB maximum. This device contains a brushless high-torque 40-watt motor that can expel forces up to 3200 rpm. Like other Hypervolt massage guns, the Hypervolt Go 2 comes with a one-year warranty, the Hyperice app, extra head attachments, and TSA approval. The Go has a stall force of about 15 pounds and a stroke length of 10 millimeters, meaning it's not the best choice for deep tissue massage, but is great for a surface-level massage.Alternatively, pop down to our showroom and take a look at the Hypervolt home charger in the flesh. Our showroom is located on 13c London Road, St Albans, AL1 1LA. My car delivery is due Oct 17th , so I’ll update this review after it’s been in use for a couple of weeks or so, But great Customer service and support so far.👍 For the mini gun category, we actually prefer Hypervolt Go to Theragun Mini. That’s because the Go’s traditional shape makes it more practical to use than the Mini’s unique configuration. The Go also has an angled handle to make things even easier.

Hypervolt 2 Pro Review: A Massage Gun For Serious Hyperice Hypervolt 2 Pro Review: A Massage Gun For Serious

Our Hypervolt 2 review will share our findings and observations from using this massager. What do we like about it? And what would we change (if Hyperice allowed us)? Hypervolt has developed a flawless, smart, and beautifully-designed charger that meets all your domestic charging needs. In practice, it doesn’t disturb the normal conversation, and there may be no need to increase the TV volume when using the device.

The control panel has also been redesigned to include a control button, the 3 speed LEDs, 3 more LEDs just below the main button for the pressure sensor, and a Bluetooth connection indicator. There is also a new logo on the side (a slanted “H”) perhaps an indication of the different approach taken by the company. In ‘boost’ mode, the Hypervolt will charge at a full rate of 7kW, using any solar-generated energy, and then top up the remainder from the grid.
