Transformers: Rise of the Beasts follows Noah and Elena as they must contend with a world-threatening mechanical menace (Unicron). The movie sees the mighty Optimus Prime and his Autobots teaming up with the Maximals for the first time on the big screen. It is taking the Dungeons and Dragons movie just two months to go from theaters to DVD. Scream VI is taking four months. Paramount Pictures likes to see how a movie performs in theaters first, so it’s hard to take a guess on how long we’ll see this one come out. We could be looking at an arrival around Tuesday, Aug. 8 but we may need to wait until around Tuesday, Oct. 10. It won’t be surprising to hear that there isn’t a set DVD release date just yet. The Transformers Rise Of The Beasts DVD is based on the 'Transformers' spinoff 'Beast Wars' which feature robots that transform into robotic animals. As Unicron seeks the Transwarp Key to consume limitless worlds, the Autobots and Maximals, including Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal, are thrust into the fray. On Earth, former soldier Noah Diaz and art intern Elena Wallace stumble upon a part of the key, drawing them into the chaotic conflict. This is a Paramount Pictures movie. With that in mind, we’re looking at Scream VI and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves to get an idea for the latest movie in the Transformers franchise.
