The taste of Jamaica; big flavours, epic sounds - produced in association with Kane Robinson (Kano). In Australia it's labelled spirit so I guess it has at the very least under two years of age, but more likely no age. Duppy Share White Jamaican Rum is a blend of molasses pot still rums from Clarendon, Worthy Park and Hampden distilleries.

Lively tropical fruits such as green banana, pineapple and juicy mango which give way to rich caramel sweetness, fresh thyme, pimento berry spice and bite of pepper. Nothing says Caribbean quite like the sweet taste of the coconut and with Malibu not only do you get that, you also get the sweet, heady taste of premium white rum. The Duppy Share folks teamed up with the brilliant British musician and actor Kano to create Duppy White!Our packaging meet all the requirements of many partner carriers, especially for international carriers. The label features oodles of references to Kano's life and Jamaican culture, styled similarly to a 7-inch record. The Duppy Share White is a 100 % Jamaican white rum with an irresistible taste of mango, thyme, banana and white pepper. Now, despite being a blend of rum from two of the “hippest” rum distilleries – Foursquare and Worthy Park, it never seems to get talked about much. The islands are incredibly beautiful and have an amazing ability to make anyone, in any situation, feel totally welcome and at ease.

Presentation wise the rum comes in the familiar stubby, rounded The Duppy Share bottle complete with chunky cork topper. It has been available in most major retailers and UK supermarket chain Morrison’s for quite some time now. Enjoyed by absinthe connoisseurs and dedicated spirits advocates around the world in the traditional way with sugar and water. Made exclusively with a luxurious base of quality Cognac, Grand Marnier has a smooth richness to it and a sharp, vibrant orange flavour. Rum is housed in a nice bottle with a label that contains references to Kan's life from fashion, through food, Empier Windrush to the myriad ways Jamaican culture has affected us all.

If I was in Jamaica I’d drink like everyone else there but here in Queensland the duppy white is a very good alternative to that fantastic taste of Jamaica which we have all been missing out on for too long. The addition of mango, peppercorn, lemongrass, and other culinary ingredients to the profile adds depth, resulting in a genuinely distinctive and full-bodied experience. Like so many of the classic cocktail favourites, the origins of the Mojito cocktail have been lost and blurred over the years.
