About this deal

Tips:All water flossers have standard water jet tips, but some include others for special purposes. These can be for gum care, cleaning around implants, or flossing with braces. Read more about water flossers for braces.

First you need to determine which model of Waterpik you have. The easiest way is to find the WP or WF model number marked on the flosser. In the example below the flosser is marked model WP-450 behind the reservoir. Below that is the serial number and a localised part number (WP450UK in this case.) You can generally ignore any letters after the numbers as these refer to your geographic region. For instructions on how to open your Waterpik to fit replacement parts see our Waterpik repair guide here. Which Waterpik Flosser Do I Have? The Waterpik Water Flosser is clinically proven to provide significant oral health benefits. Scientific evidence from independent and university-based research centres shows that the Waterpik Water Flosser is an easy and more effective alternative to string flossing, air flossing and interdental brushes.

It must have the correct output plug or induction connector for connecting to your Waterpik flosser (there are several types) Classic Jet Tip– The most commonly used Waterpik flosser head. A stream of water flows through the tip and blasts away plaque from between the teeth and along the gum line. Waterpik has included two Jet Tips in the box of the Cordless Plus.

Re-fit the battery retaining clamp, making sure that the wires pass through the slots in the clamp. However, that's really where the benefits end because you're getting less pressure (80 PSI) than other models, only three power settings, and two tips included. It looks and feels quite cheap and dated compared to their others. If you want a compact flosser, it might make more sense to buy a cordless one with similar settings and a lower price, like this one from TUREWELL. Waterpik and toothbrush combos The Waterpik flosser on this unit has 10 pressure settings delivering 10-100 PSI of pressure, but there is no timer or massage mode. In this sense, it's like the basic Waterpik Ultra WP120 but with a toothbrush included. The toothbrush has three modes: Clean, Whiten and Massage. It delivers up to 31,000 strokes per minute; not that powerful compared to most other sonic toothbrushes which deliver in the range of 40,000 to 60,000. Solder the 4 wires to the new battery’s solder tags. Again, make sure you don’t melt the plastic of the battery. During a consultation with a hygienist or your dentist, the most common advice given is to brush twice a day and floss your teeth. This advice has been proven statistically and is why dental professionals reinforce it at every appointment.

Replacement 2.4V Ni-MH battery with solder tags. Support us by buying from Ionic Industries here. Other designs of Waterpik battery are described here. Test the fitment of the new battery and that the wires reach the solder tags. Once you’re happy with its position you can use a little double-sided tape to hold it in place. This is not essential as the retaining clamp will hold it in place later. Chargers for some versions of the WP-350 and WP-351 are marked with part number 15-3502-2001 and are rated at 110-220V AC input and 2.5V DC output at 45-70mA. The barrel plug is centre-positive polarity.
