Compared with the Marauder 2 flashlight, the Marauder Mini powerful flashlight is smaller in size and lighter in weight. The size of Marauder 2 is 5.5in in length, 2.09 in body diameter, 3.11 in head diameter, and weighs 26.5oz. However, the size of the Marauder Mini is 5.12in in length, 1.73in in body diameter, 2.58in in head diameter, and weighs only 16.3oz. Marauder Mini flashlight would be more comfortable in hand and easier to carry. Now we’ll talk about lanterns; one of the best things about modern lanterns is the variety of power sources available. There are even rechargeable, fluorescent, and Marauder mini LED options available. The gas-free design of modern lanterns makes them much less of a fire hazard than their candle-fueled predecessors.

What's in the box?The only complaint I have is that the symbols for throw and flood don’t make it too clear. I’d have the symbol for Flood with the lines indicating the direction of the beam, longer and wider.. And then the symbol for Throw with fewer lines, and farther out. (Just my opinion) For the outer ring of LEDs, they used an unknown LED to me. It doesn’t have any ‘special characteristics’ to distinguish them from any other LED. But the center LED looks exactly the same as was used in the Olight Javelot Mini. From a little research, it seems to be the following: Next to the dial knob are 7 battery level indicators. But they are only lit for a few seconds after turning the light on. You can’t see the battery level when running the light. Not a big problem, because most flashlights don’t have that anyway. But it could have been interesting to see, without having to turn the light off. The only thing you can unscrew is the tailcap, to give you access to the battery. Everything else is tight and secure. The tailcap is also protected with 2 silicone o-rings to keep the water out, and make it IPX8 waterproof. High, medium, and low are the available brightness levels. If you need to keep the light on for an extended period, this is a useful function. Battery life on low power is 7.5 hours, according to the manufacturer. The strobe function is extremely disorienting and can cause temporary blindness if activated.

Unlike the Marauder 2 (or “M2”), this little loop does not seem to flip out and in the photo above is as exposed as it gets. Generally, spotlight flashlights use a mirror-reflective cup with a small core LED. The caliber and depth of the reflective cup directly affect the degree of light gathering. The curve design of the reflective cup determines the spot position and the shape of the spot. The excellent spot has a regular and round center as well as a clear boundary.

Moreover, in the leafy scene, other colors would be absorbed by the green leaves, while the green light can penetrate the jungle easily. Most animals cannot see the spectrum of green light very well. Many hunters claim that the green light will not scare fish, deer, wild boar, and other animals like a bright white light will. The green light flashlight also has a longer runtime than other color LED flashlights, which makes it suitable for hunting. Instead of the 14,000 lumens of the Marauder 2, this is claiming a maximum output of 7,000 lumens, including a Spot light features, and RGB LEDs.. not AUX! So you can get a ‘real red, green or blue’ beam. Not just for fun, like you have with AUX LEDs. Military personnel often use red light flashlights to perform their duties at night. The reason is that red light is capable for them to navigate in remote areas, and they can't be seen from far away places so as to avoid being discovered by the enemy.

I’m almost shaking to get this review up and out in the world. The Marauder Mini is a special kind of flashlight, with high-quality materials, awesome, awesome features, and ….
