If you are going to park on the street, especially if you are in a controlled parking area, it’s a good idea to get a bike cover with a number-plate window. Sources This is my 3rd cover from JDC. The old ones they did had a draw string around the bottom and no elastic. These were great but after a year in the sun the started to fade and become brittle. Riders can enjoy at least five years from a good cover, which equates to very little annually for keeping your machine in good condition.
