After using an amiibo, when Mario grabs a Mystery Mushroom he takes on the amiibo character's appearance, complete with character-specific animations and sound effects. Not quite true. Amiibo rewards range from paraglider fabric to armor, weapons or materials (like ancient blades), depending on the figure in question. I love the amiibo functionality, I score the best gifts from Zelda characters. The rest make it rain meat. I've considered changing the Switch's date after each use to keep going and load up on meat skewers to sell at 120 a pop, but I've yet to test this. EPONA can b gotten off the ssb link an unlimited number of time at random, I have gotten her countless times since registering her and in fact saved and tested if she can be registered more than once I successfully registered her twice then reloaded previous save she has a fair chance of showing I keep getting her while wanting chests and resources so I save each day before using SSB link then reload if I get epona again >< so people stop claiming she's a one time get, she did show up the first time I used the amiibo and she shows up about half the time I used it since

dumedum As long as Wolf Link hasn't died that day you can actually scan him multiple times (but won't regain health when you do), as he will disappear when you enter certain areas. I'm not sure about updating the number of hearts though... that may need to wait until the next day. Press start and it should ask for you to register your Amiibo ( may have to erase the amiibo data first ). Do that and once done quit the game and boot up BotW. Scan the wolf link amiibo. I totally forgot about these Amiibo things. I think I have Sheik, Toon Link, Ganondorf, and Wolf Link.

Pixel Fabric, Hero Armor, Sword of the Hero, knight's broadsword, soldier's shield, knight's shield people are saying that this is usually the case and sometimes even out of the box they get 10 or 20 hearts in BOTW.
