Another benefit of getting the right fit is that it provides some isolation from outside noise. This isn’t quite as effective as active noise cancellation, but it works surprisingly well. On the other hand, the battery life per charge is relatively limited. Imaging, accompanied by good instrument separation, is accurate and without significant blind spots. The big boost in bass can occasinally ruin overall pleasant listening experience.

You’ll have no issues wearing SoundPEATS Sonic wireless earbuds for multiple hours. Comfort is excellent, with housing small enough to fit nicely in your ears. Competition in this price range is strong, especially if you look for something more durable and with a better fit. However, your transmitting device needs to support aptX Adaptive codec. Otherwise, you can’t use it. Beyond that, they fit snugly in the ear right out of the box. There are three pairs of changeable tips in total, but I expect the ones that come factory fitted will suit most people. Besides the blatantly obvious LED logos, they’re actually much lower profile than Edifier‘s TWS1 Pro we reviewed recently. The TWS1 jut out of the ear, which is especially obvious with the white model. It’s a little bit Chobits to say the least. FEATURES & FUNCTIONALITYIf I compare the look of the Sonic pro vs the H1 I’m personally more inclined towards the H1 since it looks a lot more IEM style it kind of looks a lot classier and overall the design is simpler cleaner.

What is even more impressive is that the charging case can charge the buds from 0 to 100% in just 1.5 hours. The case holds another 20 hours.In terms of the design the sonic pro is exactly the same as the sonic you basically get the same dimension the same size and the same styling overall. It essentially combines all aptX codecs (classic, Low Latency, and HD) into one. The SoundPEATS Sonic Pro has created a sound profile that puts its focus around the vocals and it shows. The mid-range offers a neutral sound quality that allows the listener to enjoy a song with bright vocals in the centre. This mid-range is very impressive considering the cost the clarity was there for all to hear. The Sonic Pro, the sonic or the H1 they all sound fantastic however they do sound very different and if you listen very closely they all have their own sound signature that you might prefer one over the other. Not sure whether Soundpeats changed the tuning for the Pro but i can hear instruments being more forward than the vocals burying the clear vocals behind the loudness of the instruments.

Like most wireless earbuds, the Sonic buds come with a carrying case that doubles as a charger. It has a grey housing that matches the earbud shells, with a silver interior that’s molded to fit the earbuds. Under the lid, between the two earbud wells, there’s an LED battery indicator that changes color. Depending on the battery level, it will light up green, yellow, or red when the case is opened. The overall passive isolation is excellent with a combination of deeper fit and rounded ear tips that fully seal the ear canal. While not class-leading, the passive isolation is excellent. They don’t necessarily fall out of your ears, but the sound changes.As they say, though, nothing is perfect. In the case of the Sonic Wireless Earbuds, they won’t charge wirelessly. If you want a pair of buds with Qi wireless support, the SoundPEATS H1 are a solid choice. That said, they don’t offer the same bass performance as the Sonic buds. You can still hear loud motorcycles passing by, but it’s still impressive what you can achieve with simple yet effective ear tip design. Bluetooth 5.2 offers a wide connection range, easy pairing process, aptX Adaptive, mono mode, and no audio lag. They do suffer from the same problem that all passive noise cancelling buds (and industrial earplugs) have, they amplify your internal noises like breathing, chewing, your feet hitting the ground, and your voice if you try and talk. I find this really distracting but it's basically unavoidable if you want to have good passive noise cancellation.

If you want the bassy earbuds of the bunch the Sonic is still the bass of the bunch and the H1 comes in at second place and the Sonic Pro being the least bassy earbuds among the three. A very unique use-case: My wife and I share the earbuds watching TV after our toddler has gone to bed. We fine it easier to listen to TV audio with one ear and be able to talk to each other simultaneously.
