RAUSCH traces its roots all the way to 1890 when the master hairdresser Josef Wilhelm Rausch, a purveyor to the Royal Court of Prussia, founded the company which produced a hair tonic using herbal extracts. Our shampoos are highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way: one bottle contains enough product for 30–45 applications. In 1990 he developed the world’s first liquid hair washing soap ‘Champooing’ and, since then, RAUSCH has been a byword for highly effective and exclusive herbal extracts, top quality, sustainability and safe-to-use products. In 1949 the small cosmetics factory was acquired by Josef Baumann-Widmer and today the company remains under the ownership of the Baumann family as an independent Swiss family business.Designed for daily use.
