You'll get 21 fan-favourites with the US and European version of Super NES Classic, and they're all excellent. Be it Super Mario World, Star Fox, or The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, these 16-bit icons are every bit as playable today as they were 30 years ago.

The Atari VCS Vault contains a decent selection of Atari 2600 and 1980s arcade classics. Some of my favorite old Atari 2600 games are here, like Yars Revenge. Then there are some weird choices, like Basic Math. There are also a LOT of sports games. I don't even like playing sports games from 2 years ago, I definitely don't have any nostalgia for Bowling on Atari 2600. Out of over 80 Atari 2600 games included with the VCS, 17 are straight sports games. I didn't count all the racing games, of which there are plenty (but not Gran Prix, the one I wanted most). There are some classics on here, like Missile Command, Adventure, and a couple others, but overall it's a weak selection. It’s the newer version of the RG350P, which you will see is 3rd in our list. The RG351P was released in October 2020 and can power everything up to your average N64 game. We say average because we start to see a dip in performance when we play large N64 games like GoldenEye etc. You would never think that this is the console that followed up the 2600. The dramatic drop in quality between the two systems is astounding. Where the 2600 is compact, intuitive, sturdy, and easy to use, the 5200 is massive, strange, constantly needing fixes, and confusing. The controller is one of the worst controllers ever paired with a console, and most people who buy a system in the 21st-century resort to using 3rd party controllers since they break less often. Atari has entered into an agreement to acquire Digital Eclipse, with the deal expected to be completed in the coming days. But overall it’s a well made handheld, that’s incredibly comfortable, has a lovely screen and can emulate most of your retro games, but don’t expect many PS2 games to work!Simply add your ROMs and you’re ready to go. It also requires very little tinkering in regards to emulator settings to get things working. This will handle most of your retro games as soon as you get it out of the box, just remember that it’s capped at Gamecube games! The ANBERNIC RG35XX is a handheld that was released in December 2022 to take on the best mini retro handhelds of the year. In terms of design the handheld feels a delight to play on, especially the metal editions. It adds weight, durability and gives it a premium touch.
