I have always prided myself on looking after my tools. GT-85 has made my job so much easier because it cleans and lubricates at the same time. A cookie set by YouTube to measure bandwidth that determines whether the user gets the new or old player interface. I use GT85 all the time, it’s way better at displacing moisture and being a penetrating oil than other brands, there’s a can in my van, car and tool box. Best bit of kit i own.

Do note that if you are going out in the rain, the GT85 will wash off almost immediately so maybe use something heavier and longer lasting. GoT to get up and go then GT85 worked wonders in my lawnmower hobby and repairing items and easy to find the can in the tool box 🧰.There’s always a can of gt85 on my van. Use it for loosening fixings, lubricant for the oilstones, stopping them squeaky door hinges. Earns its money every day I use gt85 all the time in my teams race karts leaves everything looking like new, chrome, painted services. Alloy and plastic.

I use GT85 on ny motorcycle, Mountain bike, under the bonnet of the car. GT85 protects against corrosion, disperses water and smells really nice. Excellent stuff, use it on my motorbike keeping it looking prestine and cables etc performing as new, mountain bikes and around the household. As an avid DIYer this is my go to for anything with a little or a lot of rust on it, giving me confidence to remove any faster I come across! Been using GT85 for nearly 30 years – almost the only lube I ever use. Best Mountain Bike tool in the box! GT85 is great for cleaning your bike. A big douse over the frame and drivetrain will help loosen dirt, grease and grime a lot like a dedicated cleaner or degreaser will. Then taking a soapy sponge to your bike will mean getting it clean is an easier task.

It'll help remove the worst of the rust and will get all the important parts moving again. By no means is this a cure - but it'll get the bike to a rideable state for sure. It's likely you'll need to replace a few components, but at least this way you can ride to the bike shop. My motorbike lives outside and the British weather isn’t very kind to it. A liberal application of GT85 keeps it rust and squeak free. Metal medicine I call it! The GT85 Original Spray came to my rescue. I’d forgot to take in my garden tools and they had been hidden in the garden for a month they had seized and rusted a little.
