As good as the three EQ modes are, it is also quite bizarre that Plantronics decided to limit users to just three preset modes. It would’ve made listening on the 6100 much more enjoyable had we more audio options available to us. Was there a solution at all? This has just happened to me too. And I’ve only used it twice. Can’t find the receipt. So frustrating. What a rubbish product!!!! The sound is very good, but it goes up a level when you apply the extra tight-fitting option. The sound then reaches its high point whist also improving the passive noise isolation even more. There is an App that comes with the phones where the sound and Awareness mode can be adjusted to tailor it exactly to what you want. I am having the same issue. I won't hit them or whatnot but this is rediculious and way too costly. I wish I had seen this first. Not a happy camper!!!Just about every feature you might want shy of active noise-cancellation is here, and most importantly it all delivers.
