Zog, the biggest dragon, was the keenest one by far. He tried his hardest every day to win a golden star. I really enjoy writing verse, even though it can be fiendishly difficult. I used to memorise poems as a child and it means a lot to me when parents tell me their child can recite one of my books. He has various other mishaps in everything he tries to do and each time the little girl is there to lend a helping hand. With all his misadventures he realises that it will be difficult to achieve his ambition to win a golden star.
