Inspired by the variety shows of the 1970’s, Jane hosts Jane McDonald & Friends, a glamorous entertainment series featuring many famous performers over two series plus a Christmas special and a New Year special.

Sydney is known for its famous Sydney Opera House, iconic harbour and glorious beaches. Perth also features pristine beaches as well as a myriad of attractions including Perth Zoo. In episode 2, Jane continued her journey with a visit to Brisbane, where she became a zookeeper for the day at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. She then explored DreamWorld, Australia’s biggest theme park before continuing on her cruise to Perth. The final episode saw Jane’s time onboard Sun Princesscome to an end with a delectable dinner at the Chef’s Table.For this two-part episode, Jane started her journey in Valparaíso before heading south along the Chilean coast on Silver Muse and concluding her trip in Argentina and Uruguay. At the Laguna San Rafael, Jane took part in the customary tradition of drinking whisky on ice directly from the glacier.

In a three-part episode, Jane explored the West Coast of Australia. She started her trip in the surfing paradise that is Queensland’s Gold Coast before heading to Sydney and later Brisbane and Perth. She enjoyed several land tours along the way and concluded her time on Sun Princess with a delectable dinner at the Chef’s Table. The “S.S.” here appropriately means “Super Ship.” The vessel features fine Brazilian marble on the walls and floors, a 19th-century Venetian glass mirror, a stylish Bar du Leopard with a full-service bar and an onboard cinema. In the show, Jane McDonald visits Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba as well as Montego Bay in Jamaica.
